At the end, when you beat the last boss, the game cuts to the map screen without showing the standard victory screen. How did you do that?

A troop event that runs when the boss' HP hits 0, that heals the boss slightly, then damages it again, then after the collapse effect plays fades the screen out and ends the battle.

O.O
yes, i have...

Sent you a fix, try doing the scene again if you don't mind. Don't worry, you get a chance to replay the airship game as much as you want later to get a high score.

You're coming across all sorts of weird things that haven't happened before, sorry. :/

Do you have a save before that part?

when i put 'Map139.rvdata2" in my data folder and play, the city of emerald becomes tower of zot-3f and all becomes black.

Ummm... there is no Tower of Zot in LoB, do you perhaps have Alter Destiny as well? Because Map139 in that game is Tower of Zot - 3f.

Hello :D
sorry for late replying
i'm sorry it wasn't 1.69 but 1.70. btw, for this problem, i have fixed it by copy the data and play it in 1.69. it was success. the game can go on without any troubles.

however, in patch tower, where i fight with Tanaka (patch 1.70), i also find the problem. when it is unavoidable to lose to continue the story, it becomes game over. the game just end.
coincidentally, i also fix the problem. when i replay for several times, i try to remove the aishee from the party while in game-battle and leave karina with tanaka, and the game is able to continue.

the game is running well so far until, when fievel is dressed up by karina and aishee to get levistone from sultan, after dag (red mage) complains it and leave to the left of screen, the game is freezed without any dialogs appeared (but the person with blue skirt near well is still move). T.T
sorry for inconvenience
thank you

That battle should have a story event that ends it... and I thought I put in a failsafe that would let the game continue in case something went wrong. I will take a look at it. As for the issue with Dag, he wasn't set to through so he probably somehow ran into an errant NPC offscreen and softlocked the game. Place this in your Data folder, it should fix the issue.

Bug Reports

Never heard of that issue, but I'm glad it fixed itself!

Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance

There was a slip up and I put a beta version of the newest patch in the public folder, and the bug was related to that. Did you get 1.69 or 1.70? I deleted the beta of 1.70, it contained adjustments to Hard mode which caused this error. Try getting the 1.69 patch and replacing the Enemies in the Data folder with the one from that, it should fix the problem.

I don't know if this is a bug or not but I am putting it here anyways. I just started this game and at the town you wake up at in the beginning of the game I went to the weapon shop, and the character farthest to the left where it is suppose to show a + or a - it only shows a number. Probably because there is only room for the numbers.

Yeah that's a slight UI issue, I couldn't quite fit it in the window. The numbers are color coded, however, so it's easy to tell if it's a + or -. I might take another look at it though and see what I can do to clean it up.

Where is the Brigand's Glove? I missed it.

Also, is the boss before you get jailed meant to be unwinnable? I got a genji Glove for managing a win.

Answered you in PM, but I'll answer here too for anyone else with the same questions.

The Brigand's Glove in a secret room in the mansion in Aquaria. The NPCs in there will mention there being a draft. Press against the left wall of the big upper room to find a hidden staircase.

It's an optional win fight. If you lose the fight, the party is just unconscious when it fades back into the map and the scene proceeds from there. You get a Gauntlet from a NPC shortly after if you lose, and a Genji Glove for winning. You can bet whatever you didn't win for the other at the Coliseum later in the game, so you won't permanently miss anything by winning or losing.
