Question! Are we free to add and/or remove TP at any point of the game? Like, let's say, I'd want to go all out on Lyra's Magick, but then would actually think that investing a bit into HP would be a good idea so I could deduct some TP from Magick and invest them into HP?

That would be so unfair for your enemies, so no. :P

Once you confirm your choices, there's no going back. However, I am considering adding an item that will return a character's TP and revert their stats back to level 1. Such an item would be incredibly difficult to obtain, though.

What I want to know is will there be a chance to break the damage barrier? Like in FFX. I normally shy away from FF fan games, but I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

The damage cap is 99,999 by default for any action.

Level cap 255 :o unbelievable. This is going to be soo good. The idea of being able to spend the TP as you want and test out different "builds" of the character is perfect.I saw the numbers of damage in the video of unique limit breaks and its amazing.
Are the enemies going to have levels to?

Yes, for the purpose of skills which affect enemies of a certain level multiple (like Level 4 Flare, for example), enemies have an indicated level which can be seen when using Scan on them.

This is something I spoke of in my last blog post. A new menu option, called Training, is now available. Players can use it to spend Training Points (TP) earned from gaining levels in battle. Players can raise or lower each stat one point at a time, or mass add or remove TP into a stat. Each party member has their own "gain rate" associated with each stat. Beclem, for example, has a much higher HP gain rate thna Lyra, pictured here.

Each party member is awarded 1 TP upon leveling up. There are also other ways to earn TP, such as the Battle Arena in the Gold Saucer.

To accommodate this big change, the level cap has been raised from 99 to 255.

Updates, Stat Progression, Limit Breaks

Here's one of Cid's new Unique Limit Breaks, in which he gets an assist from some of his Al Bhed companions (the animation will actually show them later on).

Final Fantasy Discovery

Yes, indeed! Still going. Slowly, but still going.

Hard to read the level text on the portrait area. Maybe keep it the same font color as the names and HP/MP values?

Final Fantasy Style BattleLog v1.02

I just wanted to check this out, but there aren't any options showing up in MV. Basically it's not working for me. I'm not sure why, though. I'm kind of new to MV (like everyone ever lol). So do you just paste this in the Plugins folder?NVM. You have to name the plugin 'Coolie_FF_Battle_Log.js'

Yes, it has to be named that. Thought I put that in the script somewhere, but I'll add it next update. Let me know if you find any glaring bugs.

I'm making a thing
