Carwen is a lot bigger now, which is happening to most of the maps in the game. The new design of Carwen actually closely resembles the original FF5 map. I've always felt like it was one of the best 16-bit maps in the series. I've made a lot of my own additions to it as well, to avoid it being exactly the same. This screenshot shows off part of the town that most closely resembles the original map.

Got a link to this Journey battle system you're using? You said the Battle Log had no effect so I'd like to try to make a compatibility patch.

Question, are you using my Battle Log script? That text seems a bit off-center, which I would consider a bug. Can you PM me the settings for that particular skill in your database and tell me which version of the script you're using?

We're all still working hard. Avee, in fact, has created over 130 different character sets to use in the game, and that number continues to rise.
Paul has had to take some time off from development, unfortunately, but when he returns, lots of new map stuff will be our focus. As for me, planning out the mechanics of dungeons and bosses so they can be created very quickly when Paul gets back has been my primary goal lately.
I did flirt with the idea of allowing characters to level past 99, but that's something I'd have to discuss with Paul and test accordingly before any final decision is made on it.
