I have a few looping tracks I'm considering for it, but they might be better served elsewhere. For now I'm using the same music that plays when Cid is escaping from Palamecia on the stolen IAF Invincible.

The Airship Assault game costs 1,000 Gil to play, and puts you against an endless wave of enemy airships. Players can collect powerups as the game goes on to get stronger weapons.

Powerups
  • Laser Shot: Can stack up to five times, for five lasers fired with each shot. Shots fire straight ahead.
  • Spread Shot: Can stack up to five times, for five shots fired. Shots spread out in a wave.
  • Bomb: Press the "A" key to instantly destroy all enemies on the screen.
  • Shield: Collect this to restore your shields. When collected at max shields, gain a small supplementary shield up to five times.
  • Reset: Resets the intensity of the oncoming enemies, allowing you some breathing room.

Prizes: Prizes are given according to score. Most prizes are a first-time only prize. Subsequent victories will award a more generic prize from then on, like Gil.

The player has no control over the reels, but you'll see them roll and stop, anyway.

Oh cool. This is the first time I'm seeing this.

Think you'll add anymore results? Setzer's old 'Summon' would be pretty crazy.


If we have leftover space for skills, I could create copies of Aeon summons that won't lock Parker's ability to summon twice in one battle.

Yep, it's looking a lot better than the little tiny chocobo sprites I had before.

EDIT: Oh, also, there's a 1/32 chance when landing on Chocobos on the Slot reels to use Chocobo Meteor instead of Chocobo Stampede now.

Basically, your chances look like this now:

- 1 in 32: Failure (Mysidian Rabbit), Mystic Healing, Chocobo Stampede (1 in 32 of converting to Chocobo Meteor)
- 1 in 64: To The Limit!, Close Air Support, Needle Rain
- 1 in 256: Joker's Death, Joker's Doom
