I Hate These Internet Forums...

An RPG Maker "Masterpiece"?

Wraaaahahaha haaa hhaaaaaa ahahahhaaaa....

But the people here are much meaner than bigger forums I've been to. But I'll always push back when pushed, I find it a bit fun sometimes. It's generally safe to assume 80% of the people on the internet just want to spew insults of varying intelligence at everyone else (don't believe me, look at YouTube comments).

Here's my suggestion. Case the forums for friendly people and add them to your AIM/Yahoo/Whatever and talk with them. Just about stuff or questions or whatever. Then you get people to talk to that you like and you can go about making your games.

Also, I have the perfectionist problem too, but it's because I want to make something that hopefully doesn't suck to hard as opposed to something that's trash. But these are all self-imposed and are present even years ago when I didn't have my own internet.

Oh yeah, and while a bit stressful firefights can be, I love the ones where I learn more about myself, others, both, regardless if my opponents have said anything of any value. You need to show a bit more integrity, and remember that if a bunch of internet citizens are making you second-guess yourself you really should re-evaluate things.

Your favorite type of thing to raid in RPGs

Honestly I never had problems with sewer levels actually.

What Makes Stereotypical jRPGs Terrible?

OH god bad voice acting.

What Makes Stereotypical jRPGs Terrible?

I was being serious (as you can be when listing off stuff in a JRPG), I actually kind of like how bad and bizarre some of the hair gets.

You also forgot how people blink and flash, and disappear when they die in the older games.

Oh and having blue hair means you don't have any personality.

What Makes Stereotypical jRPGs Terrible?

I like bad hair.

Oblivion had sewers...

Discussion: Puzzles and Minigames.

I like puzzles that are obstacles that require a particular person to get through. Like in Breath of Fire 3, there were giant blocks you needed to push as Garr, computers you need to operate as Momo, and other nice touches like that.

Tutorials for drawing things?

If you're an expert at illustrating, you could just give tips. These are articles, you can just tell people tips on illustrating characters. I'd sure read them, of course~

How many people read Game Blogs?

I'll read anything posted if it's posted by an author of a game I'm watching. This means I have to subscribe to a game first before I begin actually going though all their blog posts (not just commenting on a few I stumble across). But once I've done that I don't mind what they post. Even if they complain about how hot it is in their apartment, I'll still read it but it has to be the author to a game I'm watching. I don't mind that their posts won't be on the top page of course.

I agree with the featured blogs method of ranking blogs where you've got the normal ones, and then the featured ones on top.

Ethereal Discovery announces new RPG Project

It looks like they were trying to make it look like FF7. But FF7 has floor textures and detail sprites.
