[Poll] Who is your favorite RMN staff member?

I think I should be a douche and create multiple accounts just so I can vote them all up.

Seriously, they all contribute very much to this site and it's just not fair to have to choose one.

"I'm a douche who created multiple alt accounts to hype my shitty games"

Kentona's quote sums it all up, and it's so very witty.

Begone with you and don't visit my site. I have no patience for scammers.

New members should be given this fair Kentona Warning:

If you are here to troll, then begone with you and don't visit my site. I have no patience for scammers and won't hesitate to ban.

What is for the "Mark as draft?" option when adding a review?

You can make changes to it before submitting it. Once submitted, it's no longer considered a draft, although you can continue to make changes to it, so the only real difference is (it doesn't get submitted while in draft).

"I'm a douche who created multiple alt accounts to hype my shitty games"

Yeah, I was thinking of Kisareth, as well. Funny thing is he/she was banned from other forums for the same thing. All the high praise reviews on Amazon for their game, I'm guessing it's the same thing.

"I'm a douche who created multiple alt accounts to hype my shitty games"

Actually, I would have loved to see a darker side to confirm the schizophrenic theory even more. Can you imagine where he first chimes in one account about loving the game, then another account where he bashes the game, and the two personas begin to bicker back and forth?

It'd be a lot like the short Geri's Game from Bug's Life.

This "promotion" was kind of awful in itself. I wouldn't have bothered .. but this? *shrug* Please don't do that.
This level of douchebaggery requires public shaming. I'm sorry if you don't agree.

Now I want to go back and give Lost Story the 1 star it deserves. All that work and trying hard not to be biased. Is there a way to prevent posts/reviews on a game without completely hiding it? While the game was awful, and now we get a picture of why, it still can serve as good input for new members:

1. Don't create multiple accounts and then talk back and forth with yourself like some schizophrenic lunatic.
2. Don't put too much hype into your game. It makes you look desperate at best, and a complete noob at worst if your game can't live up to the hype. And don't create accounts to hype your own game, because that just makes you like a douche.
3. And also just as important, learn how not to make a game.

Global Bullshit of Video Games

Yeah, the one hit KO's suck, unless you're given enough hints about what's coming so you can prepare for it (either by equipping something or strategizing in battle).

I hate games that throw status effects at you even before you've reached an area of the game that will allow you to purchase cures for them. Enemies are prone to poison you, but the town you just left doesn't sell antidotes. Double the rage when you are a one-person party who has yet to recruit other characters, and the enemy puts you to sleep, paralyzes you or some other such nonsense.

I really hate the fetch quests that has you doing nothing more than playing messenger between two towns, a full world apart, and usually takes you at least a few minutes or longer to run between them, and you'll be running between them multiple times before the quest is over. Double the rage when such a fetch quest is required for game advancement, and not optional.

It also irks me when magic has a chance to miss, especially in a game where MP is already low, and the resources for restoring them are scarce.

HD Xenosaga

Personally, I'd much rather see an HD remake of Xenogears. I'm replaying that one right now, and it's as fun as it was when I played it 14 years ago.

MakerScore question about game rating

Frankly, I'm happy with my current MS. It's a gauge of my own accomplishments in what I've done, and the contributions I've made, and the rate of growth means I'm still active in what I do. I realize others may be in competition over it, but I'm happy with my own achievements.

I'm sure there is more to MS than what I currently use it for, but right now I look at it as a locker that grows in size (where I can house all my screen shots and what not). Plus, RMN offers free hosting, so what more do I need?

If a low score (or even no score) review were to bring my MS down some, I won't complain (too much).

Barbarians and the Necromancer's Tower

Can't believe I missed this one. A Castlevania hack of sorts? Count me in!!
