The Longing Ribbon Review
I played this game a long, long time ago. And I don't remember much of it. But I do remember it was the only game (not RPGMaker game, not RPG - only GAME) that made me feel "this is too scary, I can't play it anymore" EVER. So that's something. The rest of it doesn't really matter in light of that. That's what I think.
Writing strategies
author=CashmereCat
This is enlightening! I’ve heard someone’s technique is actually to write up a mock interview of sorts with this character, to help get a sense of them before writing. This won’t be in the game, but it’s merely asking your character questions and having a conversation with them so that their character can come out in an improvised fashion.
And much like most writing advice I hear, I should actually implement it myself ;)
That's an interesting strategy, and it sounds reasonable, but it has one important flaw: everyone sounds the same at interviews. Interview questions are mostly predictable, and so are the usual answers.
I would update that to, instead of interview, conflict situation. Writing a mock up scene of that character in a conflict situation: having a burglar enter his house, finding out that his mother is cheating on his father, having his same-sex best friend tell him he's in love with him, or any situation to which there's no obvious expected reaction. It feels like a better context to make a character show what's unique and interesting about him, what are his values, his morals, his priorities.
Looking back, that's kind of what I did, except it wasn't a mockup scene. The first dialog I wrote for the character was a conflict situation (which is not his first dialog ingame), and it made me easier for me to figure out the rest.
Crypt of the Fungal Lord
I just played it, and loved it. I really dig that art style, animations are beautiful, game is super charming, and I liked the difficulty curve. Props to this game.
Screenshot Survival 20XX
Just found some screenshot mockups from a project I abandoned. Made me want to get back to it, but it was too ambitious.

The Ledge
This game is just amazing. I love everything about it. The concept, story, pacing, mapping, and mostly the direction. A lot of small details like a slight intentional lag of screen panning, the sprite animations, everything is just perfect and fascinating. I may write I review for it sometime, but I can say now that it was a breath-taking experience and I loved all of it. Flawless.

So I played it further, and I think I got the game a bit better. So you basically need to escape a large maze-y timed dungeon, and the longer you take, the harder battles get. It's an interesting concept. I died a couple of times, and I'm not sure how far along I was.

Oh, so it really is açaí.
But typical brazilian folk would be offended by things like "açaí lemonade". XD
Cute game. I've played a bit, gonna give it some more love later.

Feeling gloomy and down, but I'm oddly productive
When you're happy you want to do joyful stuff. Making games (or whatever you're doing) is not joyful, is painful. So enjoy the gloominess while it lasts. :D
Dandelion
I loved it. Incredibly charming. Quite a feat to pull off decent storytelling in such a short game time.
Also, kudos to whoever made the music. Loved the aesthetics, sound, colors, everything.

Paradise - Darkened Soul
This is a strange game.
My impression? You wanted to make a serious game, but you were scared of feedback, and you made a "humorous" game because if people laughed at it or disliked it, you can say it was intentional.
Just a feeling it's not the game you really wanted to do.
And that's because your mapping and overall consistency as quite decent, so I'm pretty sure you can make a good game. But yeah, it's scary.
