Hero won't stop running downward RM2k3
I had the same problem, and shutting down the computer totally and starting em again works fine again, normally is a problem of a IRQ or something.
If you continue with the problem, try with other keyboard, I had my computer totally LIVE once I had the keyboard broke. (Cola near keyboards are not good idea lol)

[rm2k3] Dealing with lag
Well normally it can cause lag with engines that uses in a only event many conditional branches and variables without use "waiting times", but well if I don't see the game I can't help you very much.
Removing Midi silence with RM2k3
Try to open de midi files with FL studio and see when it start. You can change any track for other with the same name and RPG maker load 'em and don't give problems

Nice, you have to try if its possible make a speed system like in rpg maker xp,
(work with up speed, up speed, down speed for events and charas give a lot of headache) but maybe its possible make with events too.

Yeah is because when I recorded the movie the snake have more speed, but now are the same, the difference is how the snake find you and don't stuck with anything, I made some more features (if its near at 1 tile and you don't move he attacks you too using events)

Another feature that will be interesting in the battle system are can show a animation of dead enemy like in FF6 that when the bosses's dead its start to shaking and dissapearing showing like lines
Making Pictures Adequate for RM2k3(Help!)
Its have to be in 256 colours, and the first colour of the palette are the transparent colour that rpg maker uses. I use Micrografx PhotoMagic 4 (old program but very good for rpg maker 2k3)
