I mainly use RPG Maker 2000/2003.
Been around the scene since early 2002.
Played and enjoyed many English, Spanish and Portuguese RPG Maker games.

ALONE playthrough
An odd way to start.
Yeah, at first, when I got outside the cave I got back inside after that conversation thinking the game was only the "cave", then when I explored everything in the cave I tried to get out and found the worldmap.

"Saphyr 2000" is usually really close to the midi original, that's why I mentioned it ;)
I also use "SGM V2.01 (Default)" and "EAWPats" (my favorite) a lot, but these change the sound a bit (with diverse outcomes), specially "EAWPats" (that's why I like it!), sometimes I split midis into tracks and use different soundfonts for each track to get the best of each worlds.
BTW, that audiophile Tomamer looks awesome!

I don't know what program you're using to convert the midi, but you can try this: http://solmire.com/
