SBESTER'S PROFILE

I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.

Currently working on
-Crime Opera Trilogy (Mafiosi 1, 2, & 3 edited, with all original resources)
-It's a secret...
Crime Opera II: The Floo...
The kids have grown up, and they're becoming quite dangerous.

Welcome your new overlord of Games

I wish I had caused an almost lawsuit for you guys... :(

Is anyone working on a romance RPG at the moment?

I am not sure whether that was a joke or not... you didn't put any more detail.

I held off on details due to the fact that my romance-centered game was my "secret project", but now that I've revealed it, it's got a dating sim element that plays a big role in the multiple routes and endings.

Bad games you love any ways.

I could really go on, as I typed that all in like 1 minute. But I won't, it was definitely a major disappointment to me personally, regardless of how many COD lovers thought it was an improvement.
Perhaps we should separate "disappointment" and "bad game"?

For all your complaints, it's still a much much better game than some of the other ones mentioned. Like Deadly Premonition, my god.

Fair argument. Despite my gripes, let's not forget I still admittedly loved it, even if I think it's a bad game.

The Way of the Samuraiseries (specifically 1 and 3) is probably the best example of legitimately bad games (omfg don't get me started) that I love anyway (collecting swords (fighting styles) is so addictive that I will put up with what is essentially an All Star Team of bad game design ideas to do it, even if the games frequently cause me controller biting frustration).

I have played through them hundreds of times while fully aware they are terrible.
Totally agree, I just booted up the first one on a PS2 emulator last month and I've played through it 3 different ways already.

I would also add MASS EFFECT 2 to the list. Really horrid game that is only enjoyable because of the first game being so awesome.
Sorry, but in what possible universe is Mass Effect 2 at all a bad game?

- A story that went absolutely nowhere
- Characters cloned from the first game
- Some major gameplay problems, especially on pc
- AWFUL mining system, horribly boring and made worse by the fact that it's required
- Reduced RPG elements. I can't stress this enough.
- Leveling/Exp system was the worst I've ever experienced.
- Terrible, linear map design.
- Citadel was boring and small.

I could really go on, as I typed that all in like 1 minute. But I won't, it was definitely a major disappointment to me personally, regardless of how many COD lovers thought it was an improvement.

I haven't played it, but looking at the comments, it seems like it's ripe for a feature.

The Rare/Obscure RM Games Request Topic

I wasn't even aware he did lol. I've only played the first one so far myself. It's kinda funny though, for all the effort RPGAdvocate put into writing such crazy dialogue, it's absolutely full of spelling and grammar errors.
