CAN YOU PLEASE RECOMMEND SOME GREAT SHORTER, WELL PACED GAMES ON THIS SITE?

Before I begin, I apologize if this intro post is hard to read, and would love some feedback on how I should edit this so it's easier to read.
I'm having a lot of success finding comics that I enjoy based off of recommendations, so I figured that I'd ask for them here.
I'd like to play some short, well paced, games on this site. By short I mean say...maybe 5ish hours or less, although I'd especially love some games that are over in 3 hours or less.
I'd prefer them to be serious as I don't usually find comedy games funny, but if it's got a bunch of clever jokes with actual set ups and pay offs, please do recommend it.
I'd prefer that it be something really fun and/or really compelling with a lot of great dialogue from very compelling characters:
If I'm gonna play the games myself, I need them to be not too hard, and without puzzles, as those tend to destroy the pacing for me. That said, if you can recommend a well edited longplay or lets play of the game, by all means, recommend
Here's some examples of some of my faves on this site:
Incitment 1 and 2
A Blurred Line 2.1
After A.I.L.A. Genesis
Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance
Three The Hard Way(One of my 2 faves)
Onyx(One of my 2 faves)
As you can tell, most of these are pre-2010 and they're all rpg, but I'd love to add add more recent games to the list, as well as some non-rpgs to this list, especially if
Some of my favorite games that aren't on this site:
Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines(My favorite game)
Baldur's Gate 2 EE
The Witcher 3
Max Payne and GTA 4(My 2 favorite action games)
Unavowed(My favorite pure adventure game!)
I also recently came across the demo for one of the most pure fun games I've ever played, Anger Foot. It's just non-stop kicking doors apart, and kicking and shooting animal humanoids to death.

Grimm's Hollow is around 3 hours and has been released in 2018, if you want to play something newer. It has a good cast of characters and interesting story.

Thanks, I'll check it out now!
If you can think of anything else, please let me know.
If you liked Onyx then you HAVE to play the sequel Onyx 2 - Clinging Soul
Or the Chaos series from the same author, Total Chaos and Complete Chaos (they're very Onyx-like). Anyway if you played Onyx, you know that's not really a short game!
From more modern games I liked:Villnoire (it has one puzzle but I found it very easy), Tales of Yuria 1(and sequel), Moonsong First Verse or Born Under the Rain
The Way is a long classic saga, but since it's divided in many episodes it can be considered a series of short games, I guess.
Othello, Exile's Journey or Flip Dimensions are worth mentioning but they're probably a little longer (the last one surely because I played it recently... I cannot confirm the first two since I played them a long time ago!).

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I will recommend Wine & Roses if you want fantastic gameplay and The House of Gwendolyn if you want fantastic writing. Each of them is less than two hours long.
unity's flagship games, Luxaren Allure and Weird and Unfortunate Things Are Happening are games I can easily recommend. Though, I don't recall how long of a play-time they are off the top of my head.
From my own stable of games, I can't not recommend Okiku, Star Apprentice. The Wand of Blasting mechanic may have been improved over time, but, this game was the initial instance of it, and I'm pretty damn proud of it. I kinda want to recommend games in my "Matsumori" series, but, as older games, they might be kinda rough. I think Aribters From Another World might be fine if it's the only game in the series you play. Konae's Investigations might have been developed as a stand-alone entity, but, you'd probably get more out if it if you also play Matsumori Days and the aforementioned Arbiters.
*Edit: Myriad Cypher. That game's story isn't exactly it's strong point, but, I feel it's more successful/fun as a tribute game than, say, Baclyae Revolution.

Wow, what a great game, The ending really got to me emotionally. Please, please recommend more, because you've got great tastes!

.
Can you point me to a walkthrough for Villnoire that explains how to do the puzzle?
Edit: Also, I'm trying out Tales of Yuria 1, I don't find it all that funny, but it's very entertaining. The problem is that I find it to be very confusing to figure out where I need to go next. I tried googling, but I couldn't find a walkthrough. Is there one anywhere?
Edit 2: Ok, yeah, Tales of Yuria is way way way too hard for me. There's too much of a focus on having to conserve your very meager resources.

1- ow good question, the puzzle is just in the final part of the game, while visiting the last dungeon. Basically if I remember correctly it's just about activating some colored plates to open some color coded doors, to tell the truth I was able to solve it just with trial and error.
anyway YES, there is a complete walkthrough of Villnoire: THIS is the part of the puzzle, that's the very last video (as I wrote it's on the last part... btw here you have Villnoire Playthrough, the whole game played out if you need some hints to finish it)
2- concerning Tales of Yuria, while the 2nd game is really linear (a single dungeon to the north), the first one needs to complete a series of separated adventures/dungeons: first is in the ruins to the north, then the forest to the east.... then I can't remember if you have to do the west or south part first (I played it 2 years ago), in any case where you are now?
IF this can help there is a walkthrough on youtube for this game too, if you are stuck Tales of Yuria - the Dragon God Playthrough
hope these can help you!
Oh and last thing: MoonSong, that I mentioned in the other post, IS technically complete, but the story isn't really finished (anyway it's pretty much linear, not too long and has no puzzles... not to mention the protagonist selection, that makes it really unique).
Glad you liked it, I'm sure the dev would be happy if you leave a comment about your experience on his game page.
In the shorter games that have a little something in more, I liked this one a lot: Mownt: For Peace. It's around 1-2 hours to complete all the endings and it's pretty straightforward, yet has just what is needed of challenge considering it's a short game made for IGMC.

quickly replying cause I agree Grimm's Hollow was really good.
You might also want to check out.
Dead Again https://rpgmaker.net/games/11232/
and the tech demo
Dandelion https://rpgmaker.net/games/11209/
They're both really short games.
Dandelion is a incredibly short visual tech demo.
But Dead Again is a semi-action jrpg with multiple endings. You'll want to get all the endings in this game, because the game is so short, but the longer the game gets, the better the endings you get. I never get tired of how creative it is. The combat system is also really cool and feels like a combination of Resident Evil Gaiden for the GBC and SweetHome. Kind of wish smokingspoon would release more games. super creative this one.

A very short game, huh? I got something that can likely be beaten in under 2 hours:
