Regarding commercial RM games...

If you use RTP and it's 1-2 hours I wouldn't pay more than $1. If that.
If it were all custom and 1-2 hours with no replaybility, then maybe $3.
If it were all custom and about 6-10 hours with no replaybility, then maybe $6-10. Maybe. It'd have to be really good though. Like, really good.
Honestly, unless it's a great game in most ways I wouldn't bother purchasing an RM game. I have two I have bought, one was through a sale for $2 and it was meh, another was .50c and I want my money back.
Just make a game that you want to make, do the best on it then price it after. Don't think about shit like this til you have a game to sell.
I would gladly pay $15 for Hero's Realm remake, though. It was a great game with a lot of engaging gameplay. ;p
Edit: I forgot to add that if a game uses RTP but uses it really, really well, not just 'slap a sample map here and done' or 'this wardrobe is enough to fill my room!!!' bullshit, then I might consider it. If the rest of it is good enough.
10 Dollars for a mostly RTP game that paints itself as some revolutionary go-back to the older RPG franchises, and has really bad battle UI, and I'm not even referring to people I've talked to who have played it and prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt, I'm talking about just the trailer. No wonder they only show it so briefly. 3 seconds of gameplay and it looks jenky and cluttered and just... eww.
Also I think the most hilarious part is that they're asking $5 for the DLC strategy guide.
Half the reason I've opted to remain free outside of my moral willingess to share is to spite buttholes who post games like that.

Darts is a good sport for me because I can spend the majority of it doing nothing physically strenuous.
As for games I don't like. I think TCG/CCG's is the one genre I truly abhor, not because they are badly designed or even imbalanced I just don't find them at all fun, I just get frustrated and salt-quit.
Only one I've played with any sort of fidelity was hearthstone, and once I got my mount yeah son I was outta there.

I like the way your water has depth and isn't two inches deep. :D
I'd recommend a slight tint though, maybe -17-17-17, 17 to give it a mild grey glum rainy look. That will not only add to the atmosphere but give the rain a little more visibility, right now its practically invisible on the light grey tiles.

And really, much as I love typing out humongous walls of text containing only the finest of my incessant bitching-- I didn't think even you guys deserved that. Hell RMwebs doesn't deserve that! One thing I really appreciate about you guys is the amount of hypothetical balls you have about all kinds of things.
I kept it in that article because I knew I was in a pretty bad state of mind, and here I am thanking past me for not making it a public thing. I knew if it was too corrosive it wouldn't be approved. Ultimately I flat out lied about impatience, I looked at it the next day, saw I was high on anger, so I got rid of it myself. But I don't really care if some one was unlucky and saw it.
Actually if you managed to read the whole thing that's quite a feat! I'd give you 100 of my makerscore if that were in my power to grant.
I couldn't possibly repeat it word for word, not because it was unspeakable, I just don't remember virtually anything I said because i was on a drip of Dr. Cox Rants and unfiltered edgy-ragemine, basically though it was 'i am angry about my dumb problems that are now yours because i say they are and bloody-bloo you guys are all butts'.
So basically my second post on this thread except with a much taller viscosity of ranting and words and late night sleep-deprived idiocy.

My spriter and I are having fun with these new character designs. Here's Pep in his 48x64 gun-slinging glory.
He's working on the sideviews and backview as I speak. My Lead Portrait Artist goes back home today, so she'll be without internet, but hopefully with a means to art, she'll be redefining Esperia's outfit, I go too little or too far.

...you do realise I was just joking and playing up, right? I'm not really angry at all - it's just play. I'm notoriously good-humoured fast after a frustration. Doesn't take much for me to calm down.
Though if any night were to make me tetchy it would be one with a three year old who has an ungodly toy of evil and writing the longest ass article for four hours on a spur of a moment decision, then having to point out I was messing around with peeps to someone.
Also I think this time it's even possible that the three year old wasn't me! Hahaha.
