I couldn't get into the original, and never saw its appeal. I'd be more inclined to support a kickstarter to pay them NOT to do this, in the hope of preventing "Oh wow, Barkley 2!" from taking attention away from other projects that might deserve it more.

Because ultimately, beneath all the bullshit, their attitude is "we're better than you". Not just "we're better than you", but "we're so much better than you that we don't have to be helpful or nice".
you stated numerous completely false things about us with utter conviction and i shot them down and told you not to speak to things you are ignorant of. because i did this i'm somehow elitist, mean and condescending? no, you're mean and unfair for fabricating lies to support your unfounded criticisms. you got called out for being ignorant, in your mind this makes me a huge jerk because you cannot possibly accept the fact that you were wrong. i've been seeing this behavior from you since like, 2006, and you just never ever learn no matter how many people explain it to you. finding this kind of behavior intolerable is not elitist, it's just... natural.
