[RMMV] How to execute battle commands immediately
Do you mean you want the skill to not do the "select target" step?
If it's a skill called Counter that targets "self", then maybe you could make it target "none" instead, and then add the Counter effect via some line of script? Something like self.addstate(x) etc but I don't know the RMMV equivalent.

Holy Crap, why are some Games so HUGE??
author=bicfarmerauthor=DyluckGames that require RTP are referred to as 'RTP not included', meaning you need to download an executable file containing the RTP and install it on your computer. If you dont have this executable installed, the game does not run and asks for RTP. Even if you place all the RTP files into that game's directory manually, it will still not allow the game to run. Fairly annoying for new players/random visitors/people unfamiliar with RPGmaker
RTP might not always be the issue too. For example, my own game says "RTP included", but what it really means is just that it's been flagged to not require RTP, but the game itself doesn't actually include the whole RTP.
I know that, but the OP was talking about the opposite situation, that too many game DO include RTP. I'm saying that some games that seem huge might not even actually include RTP, and are actually just using the flag method that some others mentioned about too.
Zack's Ultimate RPG Lite
Neat simple little battle system there. I wish I could see skill descriptions and mana cost during the fight though. I liked the idea of having 3 slots to learn skills from items. Makes it interesting to find new items, but wish there were more items. Money is too hard to come by. I fought everything I saw and then some, but only got 3 feathers to show for it, and they were worth 4 gold each. Once you get poisoned, you're screwed, since you leak HP and drain items while going all the way back to try and find Eric.

For VX games and higher, graphics can take more space than you'd expect, even more so than the music. Battlebacks tend to take up the whole screen, and animation sheets have a lot of frames.

Starlight Shoals
Just finished playing the demo. I liked the main characters, and the flavor text of most items and the conversations, and the talking monsters were pretty amusing. The starting house had some fun things to do, but the bookshelf thing was a little overboard. I literally went for a washroom break and it was still going. The battles are bit too hard though. Enemies do tons of damage and don't give much money. I had to backtrack to heal at save points a lot. Also, healing only 20% at boss fights was too harsh. I liked the lighthearted feel at the start with some undertones of deeper things to come, especially reading the novels about the sisters. Right at the end of the demo, you start of feel for the characters and the story starts to get more interesting. Overall it's a good effort, and although mapping and visuals could use some work too, the characters and story does seem pretty charming.
Also, just wondering, I didn't see the locations of your 2 newest screenshots. Are they just not part of the demo or did I miss something?

Future Ghost
The broswer method didn't work, but it seemed to have initialized something, because the game.exe suddenly worked afterwards when I tried again. But you definitely need to look into this and find the reason.
I'll send you my play test observations via PM.

Same problem still. I even tried the browser way, and it says Failed to load data/Actors.json
