I had a feeling that was it. I'll definitely check that out as soon as I get some spare time. Because of mid-terms, I've been grading nonstop for the past...eight days now. And I think I'm about at the halfway point.

Please send me a gun with one bullet.

@Merlandese: That's definitely a fear of mine, and I know that the sunflower and Flowey are going to be at-a-glance comparisons people are going to make. And, if it was just an aesthetic thing, I would totally give him pink petals, but the fact that it's a sunflower is fundamental to its design. Sunflowers have a cheerful connotation, you encounter it in a sunflower field, the cadence of "happy little sunflower" feels right, etc. Whenever I do a promo video, I might not make the sunflower very prominent so as to downplay any comparisons people might make, but, yeah, I want to keep the current design.

@SgtMettool: Thanks; I think Jimmy's style started out by ripping off Earthbound (see: flowers, grass tiles), but I started getting more confident after drawing stuff for it for so long, and I think it's taking shape now.

The battle UI is still default Yanfly. I think that design fits enough, but I would totally be open to changing it, mainly so it can stand out. I'm going to have to actually pick up some coding once summer hits so I can get the battle backgrounds animated the way I want, so I might be proficient enough to change things up then. I haven't really looked into changing the UI; do you have any script recommendations for that? I love the look of Soma Spirits's UI.

@Punkitt: Thanks! I thought that turned out pretty well. It's also got a really nice sproingy sound when it pops out of the ground.

@Unity: That wasn't too hard to implement--it's mostly pictures and condition statements. The tough parts about the transformation system are the field actions (mostly because of having to put in each little interaction) and the skill equip system. That one's a doozy.

Hmm.. if you could have any kind of appendage or body part come out of the top of your head..what would it be? hmmmmm

Hand. 50% more high fives.

I think this one would make a great tagline.

Woah! This is awesome! You even saved room for the turtle stack!

Ooh, a double-double feature with me and SgtMettool. I'm in good company!

Let’s Get to Know You, Red-Billed Squawker!

Thanks, everyone! I've still got three more transformations I'm going to post about (and two secret ones that you'll have to find on your own), so stay tuned!

I love that this form has a field power that has 2 or more functions. As Punkitt implies, the opportunities are ripe!

Yeah, when designing these transformations, I tried to make them all work double time. The Low-Level Goon, for instance, can shake some things and push/pull others.

@bleet: Thanks for stopping by! I'll make sure to keep up my update schedule--stay tuned for some cool stuff in the future!

@HikiNeet: All will be revealed in time...But, I will say that, yes, being in different forms will cause different dialogue/reactions at times.

I made the bell trees so that they looked like they were mid-ring--does that make them look too wonky? My first attempts at them were the more traditional angle, but I was having issues with conveyance.
