I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

Bought the game, played it all day yesterday, managed to keep my inn with a 20% payment plan (just missed out :< )
Loved it. The changes made between the original version and this version really help it shine and I can see the difference. There's a bunch more to do, more places to open and go and more people to kick out of their rooms. Fun was had!

Criminally ignored. The gameplay was simple, sure, but the visuals and atmosphere really pulled me in. This needs a lot more love!

It's... not very well balanced. Note to keep in mind when making a game - you know all the cool shit and how it all works, the optimal strategy and such for taking enemies down. If it's a little difficult for you it's going to be murder on your players, so make it a little easy for you and it might be a bit of a challenge for players.
I'd say perhaps lower some enemy defences, add a bit more HP to bat and perhaps lower some of the enemy attacks.

If you're worried about it, you can clearly see all votes (which are tied to accounts) on the vote pages. And what's the point in cheating a win anyway? Wouldn't mean shit.
Also, funny you talking about unjust bannings when you're another alt of someone already banned. Adding even more time to that ban of yours. Seriously now.

There are many games that are locked so that people can't steal from them - usually ones that have custom content. This is one of those games. It's a way to protect the dev from people taking their stuff.
So, see, the engine allows it's own installer creation that locks up the pieces that you could usually access when you make your own game. It compresses the file, locks away the access files and gives you an installer to protect it from being edited/stolen/accessed.
That is what was done to this project and many others like it. Some people do leave their games unlocked - usually for people to learn from/because they don't know they can lock it/to share what's in there/they don't care about people looking at stuff - but a lot don't.
