it says RGSS102E.dll can not be found when i try to start what do i do?
RGSS102E.dll is included in the files and needs to be moved into one of your Program Files folders (there is a tutorial included with the download)

You've seen this before, but it's been slightly altered -- pants are now dark grey/black instead of blue (and feature additional details), with the addition of gloves and the reinstating of his necklace chain at his waist. His shoes are also his Final Fantasy VIII ones -- he's had them resoled in the time since, but that's all.
More or less, I wanted to convey that he's kept certain familiar items, and though he's deliberately chosen clothes that are """less him""", like Seifer he's fallen into familiar habits -- accessories, black colours, and signature iconograpy.

I've actually got the biweekly update text written, but the image portion of it isn't quite done (i do have some sweet things to show off though, which won't always be the case but I'm happy it is for the first one!)

For what it's worth, I'm glad to hear this is still being worked on. I've been subscribed to it forever.
Worth a lot, actually. I check in on RMN and this game page in particular a lot more often than the activity here would allude to -- and whenever I see the game page trending, which it does every-so-often, it reminds me that people are still here, checking, waiting.
I intend to keep my promises.
Addressing something important
Cosplay Crisis is literally just rubberbands and glue but, somehow, it still works. if anything, it runs better now than it did in 2011, bc the average computer now has enough power that it won't ever hang on the save screen.
I may post some screenshots of updated maps pretty soon, though I might just keep it all hush-hush until release so it's a surprise.

Yeah unfortunately I won't have anything to submit. The stars are not aligned. I may continue the project eventually, or at least implement some of the ideas into other stuff I'm working on.

I'm not sure if I'll actually have something playable by the deadline, as my motivation is pretty low (my idea is cool, its just pretty hectic irl) I did creepy myself out the other day while thinking of ideas for it so there's that.
Game is called 'The Door' - my prompt is 'horrible boarding house - closed door never opened'. You play as a young woman finally heading back to her home country, but she decides to stay a few nights in a boarding house so she doesn't have a 3+ hr trip to the airport, and to investigate a rumour about a 'disappearing door' a friend told her about. The boarding house has been out of use for a few years, with only a single member of staff remaining, but she seems nice, even if the place is in a state of disrepair. Naturally, things do not go to plan, and she has to fight to escape the building and survive.
The vibe is meant to be similar to late 90s horror titles, though you won't have any defensive capabilities besides running. I've always felt that RM horror struggles with the fact you can see the whole map...so I decided that you won't be able to (and to use that to my advantage regarding the door itself).

I've got some ideas for my prompt, I just want a few more tiles to work with before I get started which is what I've been doing. pretty sure I'll be able to participate in the check-in though :)

I think you might want to shift the shadow of the crane cargo a bit lower, as the water itself is 2 tiles below it. Probably just above where the water meets the wall.

oh - actually you might want to shift click the edge of the paths leading to the stairs, but this is more of a personal choice than an actual mapping error.
