The Screenshot Topic Returns
@LockeZ and Blitzen: Jeez, equal opinions. I dunno what to say. Blitzen, I know you mean well, and that screenshot/area has gone through many other opinions and I'm about had it with the coloring issues (in full screen it looks quite good). LockeZ: You are right too, I mean, later Pokemon games used a more desaturated color palette (Or I think they did...).
I'll try one last time on coloring, but I was aiming for a more desaturated feel to bring some seriousness to the world(s) you're in.
My monitor is also quite bright, and the high contrast even professional images look too glaring and hurt my eyes. I wonder if any of you guys are still using old CRT monitors? I do notice on those screens my graphics would look pretty dark.

That's going to be mighty hard because the majority of the people in this thread are talking out of their ass.
That's called American Ingenuity right there.
I started this thread thinking someone will say:

I find Feld talking quite a bit of sense here.
I should also add the media had something to do with it by:
1. Hyping up Osama,
2. Instigating fear and hatred.
While the media no longer used him anymore. Back in the day Osama was a key moneymaker for them, and made some Americans proud they were American. When Osama died, that "indoctrination" sort of exploded.

@narcodis: I dunno; Jakesters FF graphics say otherwise. I think its more of a contrast issue and the current tree colorings are working quite fine.

I watched the speech he made, if I'm not mistaken I don't recall him saying he did it. I recall him saying something along the lines of it was more of an effort made by the American people that spanned since the FBI made him an interest in '98.
However, other things are known to just fall into his lap. So, I'd not be surprised if Jesus were to resurrect on his lap next Easter...

Meh; I'd rather politics suffice that rather than luck-of-the-draw. America has been searching for Bin Laden since '98, that's across three different presidential campaigns. It just happens to be now that we finally do find and (this time) kill him. He's been under our radars with tantalizing orders to kill for a while now. But since he's been on graves, in mosques, etc. We couldn't do it (don't know why) (sometimes faulty evidence too). But since he was found in some sort of stronghold or compound (as media said) - fair game! Boom!

Well, I just heard on the news that Bin Laden had been taken out by a shooter. This is a great day for Americans because he'd been a thorn in our side for a long time.
