StarFront: Factions
StarFront: Factions
So apparently there's already another game out there called StarFront.
It's called StarFront: Collision. A rip off of StarCraft: WoL.
That means I can't use this name for my game. Unless it hasn't been trademarked.
edit:
... and it has :(

What is the Biggest Design Flaw in Games?

You can level your equipment up by leaving it in the chest at the warden keep iirc
Hawke Estate, this is DA2, and I don't think leaving items behind levels them up. The only item that levels up in the game is Bianca, and you can't unequip it from Varic making him nothing but a puppet NPC.
Welcome to my post
@Rhuan: Just be careful I tried "advocating" Sphere on GW and it made a certain work in progress really mad. Hahaha.
Anyways, welcome and do make some gams!

What is the Biggest Design Flaw in Games?
A design flaw in professional RPG's: The items you never use.
In DA2, there are shop vendors that sell weapons that you just look at but never buy. I'm playing through the game 4 times (beat it once), and I've never had to buy anything from the vendors.
There are many great sounding items and stuff, but its usually at lower level than my current equipment, oh, and the fact that the other party members can't equip armor. That means 95% of the items in DA2 are worthless (boots, helmets, gloves, armor, many weapons, rings, amulets). I can't even fathom as to why they did that. It's too much work for an underused commodity.

Earthquake in Japan
But it really wasn't all that bad. I didn't feel the need to donate because unlike Haiti or Chile, Japan has all of the necessary procedures and engineering to withstand an Earthquake and Tsunami. Sure 10,000 people died and the coasts got muddied up, but it could have been far worse if they weren't as prepared.
I'm also surprised to see so many jump on my opinion!!! I thought this place had a huge variety of ideas and people.

text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation right now~~
I'd be careful... I would rather donate directly to the Japanese people, or a Japanese agency, not Western American ones. (Who are spending millions already setting up relief centers in California and Oregon due to 4-8 foot waves). Yeah, pathetic, I know.
American companies just want too make bank and I think our donations are better spent going to the correct people.
That is, if the Japanese agencies are still operational. Don't be so quick to trust the red cross.
