Motivation Problems
The best advice I can give is just sit down, open up RM, FE wiki, screen recorder (to do LP), and start doing it. After first few minutes you'll get into "flow" and you'll keep doing it until some distraction happen. Works for me, maybe it'll work for you as well.
Also I've learned that listening to good pop music (The Wanted, One Direction, One Republic, even some tracks of Britney) while you are doing what you should helps with motivation. Some say dubstep/trance/techno works as well, but for me it never worked.
//edit: Feldschacht's advice is sound as well.

World map or not?
World map or not?
World maps in old RPGs (chrono trigger first few Final Fantasies, etc.) was made because of size constraints (cartridges were often smaller than floppies). Now there is no excuse for making those other than "I failed to make interesting world player want to go through".
As for fast travel, it is sick concept. It's like watching a movie, but skipping like 15 minutes every so often. It just doesn't work and lessens game's immersion.

World map or not?
IMO world map in RPG games is lazy design for me. When I see worldmap in RM game that isn't fan game of some jRPG which is known for having world maps (like e.g. Chrono Trigger), I always imagine his creator thinking this: "Oh, I am too lazy to map properly all areas in game's world, so I have an idea: I'll just throw world map so I want have to map those spoony forests, plains and mountains, only towns".

Fetching imgur album?
Could you add functionality to fetch images from imgur album for screenshots section for submission? I have imgur album which I used to advertise game on other sites and would like to quickly fetch this by posting link to album instead of uploading screenies one by one (have quite some of them, like 20 or so).
It would automatically fetch screenies and either hotlink them from imgur or copy to RMN's server.

Need Assistance Finishing RPG

Make sure there's a cat. The internet digs cats.
That didn't work well for rpg called Such a Kitty (it's on site, either VX or Ace).
Anyway, inclusion of bunny, panda or other "cute" animal would be welcomed.
Do RPGs need a story?
author=Corfaisus
An RPG without a story is like a platforming game without enemies; there's no dynamic conflict otherwise!
Well, Super Meat Boy didn't have any enemies, only environmental hazards (save for occasional running from boss) and it worked quite well.
IMO, I don't have strong opinion on the matter either way. On one hand, good story can improve even genres that usually don't have any story or very minimal one like FPS, platformers or puzzle games, on another hand, I would play game with no story or story like "go to the cave, kill dragon and save the princess leveling up along the way" if game would be fun to play (with either real time battle system or carefully crafted battles for standard, turn-based one, so it wouldn't amount to mashing space as it often does in many RPGs, not only made in RM but also commercial ones).
My point is that as long as game is fun to play, be it for a story or gameplay mechanics, I will play it.
[Poll] 16-Bit(Pixel Graphics) VS HD
I think both have its merits. HD graphics just look better than pixelart (just compare RTP of VX to RTP of earlier makers), but it is hard to draw. Pixel art on the other hand is easy to draw, especially if you use right software like Graphics Gale, but look old schoolish. If you are looking for graphics like in SNES (or even NES) era, that's perfectly fine.
Running message[VXA]
When you can't run from battle, usually escape option is inactive. Instead I'd like it to be active and put message like "You cannot run right now" (like normal, in-game text message) along with an icon in form of faceset. Can someone make such script?
TL;DR: Instead of locked Escape option in battle you can't run from, I want message that says "you can't run from this battle!" along with a faceset.
