I like badasses. I like babes. I like badass babes the best. Okay...actually I like doggoes the very best, but I aspire to make games about badass babes is my point.
I use music from bands and artists in the free games I make: the frustrated filmmaker in me is very enamored of scoring scenes with rock'n'roll soundtracks Scorcese or Tarantino style. In addition to being a time honored tradition in cinema, this has a history in AAA videoogames as well (for a really great use of it, see Bioshock: Infinite). If I was a millionaire, I'd totally license these songs so I could actually use them legally.

I think he's probably fine. The truth is we do this as hobbyists; often real life happens and has to come first. He's only been "MIA" for a couple of weeks. Take a deep breath. Relax. If he's still MIA and incommunicado at the start of October, then start worrying.

Hypocrites!If you were in front of a ripoff game that highly resembled yours, you would go hunting waiting for those guys to get scared enough to stop plagiarizing your own work ever.
I literally owned a company whose games were being actively pirated (illegally hosted for download) and specifically chose to do nothing about it solely because of my refusal to be a hypocritical asshole (I have pirated FAR too many things in my day to go after someone for pirating my things). The most successful company in my sector of that industry in the last ten years got that way by releasing their game, into which they had sunk many thousands of dollars, in entirety, FOR FREE and letting people buy it if they felt like it afterwards. This business model catapulted them from obscurity to the top of the industry.
This blanket accusation of hypocrisy ticked me off, so I could say something very nasty here, but instead I'll just post a relevant Rick and Morty meme:

And yeah, just a PSA: plagiarism is when you steal someone else's work and say it's yours. I.e. just stealing Rudra sprites is not plagiarism; if you were to say "look at these sprites I made" while doing the same thing, that's plagiarism. Stealing someone else's work and putting it in a thing you make is not plagiarism unless you are specifically claiming authorship of the stolen components, resources, rips, whatever. However you (meaning whoever is reading this) feel about the use of rips is fine, but it is not plagiarism in and of itself, that is not what the word plagiarism means.

If you're using Ace and Yanfly's Message Script and its Name Box feature, if you put the \n<CHARACTERHASNAME> at the END of the Show Text input box instead of the beginning, you don't have to guesstimate how much "extra" room you have for the first line of the text box. +1 Convenience.

Reposting my RTP trash because they got disappeared like two posts after I posted them. Embarrassing as they may be I gotta get over my fear of the screenshot thread.

It's really not Ralph's fault, sheesh.
Only time I broke the fourth wall.
Those aren't actually my maps. They're the pre-loaded sample maps from Ace. NOT BECAUSE I'M LAZY: it was an artistic decision, damnit. Really. If you knew the premise of my game it would make more sense but right now some mysterious (and hopefully ULTRA-TALENTED) stranger is working it to the finish line so I'm gonna keep my lips zipped (it's also why I'm not posting more/better screens). Anyway I made most of the interiors less bad (and in general I edited many or most of the maps to the point where they were scarcely recognizable) but I didn't do it for Caroline's house. That WAS because I was lazy, lol.
GARBAMESH (video is fucking amazing, ESPECIALLY just the sheer freedom of traversal) but I am curious: two or so usernames back, you're the fellow that was working on the ABL Remake, right?

I love mapping really. Overall its enjoyable after you've made a plan to get so and so maps done then you really get in the zone.

The Russian word lukavy (лукавый) means "deceptive". It is commonly used as a euphemism for the Christian Devil. It is related to the Greek word lykaugea, which means "twilight".
Personally, I say it as Loo Sah Vee, with the same emphasis as the word Lucifer
Impressive. Now I want to know how a native speaker would pronounce lukavy.
