You see not a bird but an American lady who likes other ladies. Oscillates between shy as a mouse and babbling violently, seemingly at random.
I like badasses. I like babes. I like badass babes the best. Okay...actually I like doggoes the very best, but I aspire to make games about badass babes is my point.
I use music from bands and artists in the free games I make: the frustrated filmmaker in me is very enamored of scoring scenes with rock'n'roll soundtracks Scorcese or Tarantino style. In addition to being a time honored tradition in cinema, this has a history in AAA videoogames as well (for a really great use of it, see Bioshock: Infinite). If I was a millionaire, I'd totally license these songs so I could actually use them legally.

Let's work on your game descriptions!
Coelocanth: the bureaucrat seems to be massively under-reacting to Shalath in her undisguised form. I'm not sure of the finer points of the lore of your world but from what you've written here, it seems like his reaction would be more along the lines of "Agghhh! What the hell is that? What the hell are you? Guards! Guards!" than a mere "No. No I don't think so." (which incidentally needs a period).
Nickdoe420: what is your native language? Someone on the site might speak it and be able to help you write your game description in English. This is a very diverse site in terms of countries of origin, and even though it's English language, I think a plurality of users are bilingual.
EgyLynx: The phrase you were looking for is 'Catch 22' I think. Anyway, same thing I said to Nickdoe420 but I'll try to use simpler words to make it easy. What language do you speak? Someone here might speak both your language and English and be able to help you.

I'm trying to think of what things to put into my notes-file for my second half. I mean, some stuff I'm jotting down is practically a copy-paste of comments in the Teleport script I'm including. I mean, I figure it can't hurt to have a handy-dandy reference of what to do when one wants to make a location to warp to, or how to unlock a location if said location is initially unavailable. I've a few game-related ideas in there as well for good measure, though.
Those all sound like good things to put in there. I'm having trouble thinking of what to put in my notes file (currently a 100% comments 'Script' called *THE HANDOFF*) for the exact opposite reason, there really aren't any fancy custom systems in my game to explain how to work with. And I don't want to tell the person who gets it what to do with the story/characters/locations, since that's entirely up to them, so I can't write too much about that.
[Poll] How do you pronounce Lucavi?
author=Liberty
Loo Cah Vee, lock-ehz
this way, which i feel compelled to point out only slant rhymes with blue hobby
Edit After Actually Reading Poll Question Carefully: oh, those guys, from FFT? I pronounce it MOTHERFUCKER. God some of those fights were insanely tough, like throw your console out a window in rage tough. I have an irrational pulsating hatred for Lucavi yet still could not remember their proper name. Odd.
Nintendo SHUTS DOWN RPG Maker's POKEMON fan game ecosystem!
It’s been recently announced on the RPG Maker web forum that NINTENDO has decided to put the kibosh on the Pokemon Essentials, a customized set of scripts used by fans to make their own fan games that started back in the days of RPG Maker XP (circa 2006).
A lot of good games were made using it (I’m leaving out the POKEMON as all the titles have it): Reborn, Insurgence, Sage, Obsidian and, most notably, Uranium. All of these will probably have to shutdown, if they haven’t already.
Jesus I hate companies. These are free games that are earning the people making them no money and costing the company no money, right?
You won't find a more victimless crime than some fanboy stealing rips to make a fangame for a product they're in love with. It's not like anyone who even knows that Pokemon: Obsidian or whatever exists is going to play that instead of Nintendo's silicon crack, they're going to play it to supplement Nintendo's silicon crack. These people have most likely bought every Pokemon product under the sun. Or maybe I just can't muster any sympathy for giant faceless multinational corporations.
FWIW: I don't even like Pokemon. I practically detest fan games and have argued against people making them in the past (admittedly, WAY in the past). But a company treating its fanbase this way is fucking lame. At best.
Oh, and as an afterthought: I can scarcely imagine how hard RMN would collectively pitch a fit if Squenix were to C&D Blackmoon Prophecy et al, et al meaning every other Final Fantasy fangame on this site. (And props to Corfaisus for pointing out that Final Fantasy is basically a D&D fangame.)

You know what? Screw it. I'm doing this anyway. My half may not be any good, as I've lost a lot of possible dev-time on it. However, things have settled down a bit.
That, and the fortnight that would make up the second half should be a lot less wonky.
Welcome back to the party.

Whenever I post a screenshot the only thing I really truly WANT to get feedback on is my fucking DIALOGUE.
Whilst the status was half joking, still...I'm gonna have to fill in Strongly Disagree for that one, Sooz.
Don't get me wrong; feedback on how things look can be useful and I'll try to take useful feedback where I can get it, and I desire feedback on gameplay very nearly as much as I crave feedback on my (oh so charming, oh so witty lol) dialogue, but no one can really give feedback on gameplay from a screenshot (well, 99/100 times).
I gam mak to satisfy my frustrated unfulfilled dreams of being a television/screenwriter or writing professionally for the stage; that's just as valid as someone who does it to satisfy their unfulfilled dreams of being a professional pixel artist in a time when such a job was common in the big vidya gaems industry, designing maps for the big vidya gaems industry or the guy who does the lighting effects, or the UI.
I make RPG Maker games because I'm good at writing and borderline obsessed with mechanics. I also do it because I have discovered over the years that I literally can't not make games. They pour out of me. I have no control over it. As far as the 'pretty screenshot minigame', I have upped my visuals game to the level of 'not grossly offensive to the human eye' and I'm happy to plateau there. : )
Edit 1: Also, frankly? That kind of attitude may contribute to why the writing in 80% of the videogames industry is fucking shit. "What, you're excited to be a writer? You think you might have some talent as a writer to show off? Great! Get the fuck out of this business, go write movies instead!". Indie games are worse than most but at least they have the excuse of not being able to afford a professional writer (we're not expensive and we always put out for the money) but those things are sometimes made on practically no budget.
I have played more FREE RPG Maker games with writing better than I've found in most-or-all commercial games than I can count on my fingers, and that is fucking sad. But it is also evidence that more creators than me have similar driving motivations. Edit 2: (Oh...I made a six paragraph response to your one line post...whoops.)

Censorship and Security Paradoxes
@DarklordKleinor: yeah, the funny thing is after typing that I watched that for at least ten minutes in between listening to it for at least twenty minutes for a total of at least half an hour. It's weirdly catchy.
@bulma: I disagree. I think that the fact that his lawyers have resorted to a strategy of "no one could really be expected to believe this crap" when his entire career has consisted of desperately trying to get people to believe this crap is newsworthy. So yeah, it's definitely got human interest down, and also timing and prominence. Proximity is obviously relative. I agree with you that it has no real significance but that's true of a lot of news, especially human interest pieces and local news.
Beyond that, I'm going to stay away from the entire etymological morass of "fake news".
In agreement, let me quote one of the great philosophers of our age, Michael Render, AKA Killer Mike of the rap duo Run The Jewels (<3).
Yeah. I do consider the platforms to be bad actors in this even if they're acting in obvious self interest. And I do consider Alex Jones to be a hilarious, frothing-at-the-mouth maniac that seems be angling to get in the Guinness Book of World Records for "Most Absurdly False Statements Shouted Incoherently At The Public".

Like who really run this?
Like who really run that man that say he run this?
Like who really fund this?
Like who really fund who say he fund this?
Like who in the world gon' tell Donald Sterl who to put on the
“You can’t come” list?
Now don’t be silly
Who the fuck gon' bully me if I got a billi?
If I got a billi and the bitch recording me, I’m like who cares
What I wouldn’t be is on TV stutterin' ta-ta-talkin' scared
So the question is when Don’s at home
with that traitor ass bitch alone
Who’s that voice on the side of the phone
that shakes and rattles his bones?
Could it be the man behind the man behind the man behind the throne?

I still think it was because when Jones got sued, those platforms suddenly saw a potential liability and they broomed him to cover their asses. I mean, there are laws that say these platforms are not responsible for what he says, but lawyers have said those are open to interpretation, and if there's reason to believe they knew he was violating their terms of service (which he definitely was), then they may not have had that protection.
