I like badasses. I like babes. I like badass babes the best. Okay...actually I like doggoes the very best, but I aspire to make games about badass babes is my point.
I use music from bands and artists in the free games I make: the frustrated filmmaker in me is very enamored of scoring scenes with rock'n'roll soundtracks Scorcese or Tarantino style. In addition to being a time honored tradition in cinema, this has a history in AAA videoogames as well (for a really great use of it, see Bioshock: Infinite). If I was a millionaire, I'd totally license these songs so I could actually use them legally.

That's some fucked up shit man. Like it disturbed me. And I am completely numb to violence in media. It must be the subconscious attachment I have to the RTP protagonists from seeing them so much and using them plenty.

Apparently, I messed up my maps so badly that my game page got denied. This is the style I want to use.

Catch is, I want to have taller sprites in order to use this style. Using the chibis doesn't help.

The third and fourth map literally do not look like they were made by the same person as the first and second map. I am bamboozled.
Edit: Actually, I did spot a couple incorrectly used tiles in Map #3, I think. Namely, I'm pretty sure that the thing you have as a "doorway" is supposed to be the top of a cabinet, like the other cabinets in the map.

i've been sitting here typing cringy self depreciating comments to express my interest in this for the past uh, many minutes. i have no grasp of time or reality.
anyway, i decided i'm signing up, sorry to whoever gets paired with me, and i hope to make something better than actual garbage. my bar is low, so make yours lower. then everyone can be pleasantly surprised by the semi-decency of the final product!

One, just...don't be so damn hard on yourself. No qualifiers. Dunning-Kruger basically guarantees that if you think you're THAT bad at game development, you almost certainly aren't.
Two, if you wind up getting paired with me, you'll have even less to feel bad about, because in spite of almost 20 years game-making experience, I have literally never used MV besides to look at the default database and the sample maps, so I'm sure I'll make a hash of the second half at least as bad as the hash you made of the first. : )

Keep. I would advise you to make it even more incestuous if I didn't think that would run you the risk of idiots thinking you were ripping off Game of Thrones. But yeah, keep it vaguely indirectly incestuous for now. Taboos are interesting.
