[RM2K3] Looking for proofreader to read through my game

I've translated one of my older games from German to English, but as English is not my native language it may be that a few (or many?) mistakes have found their way into it. Although I already have a proofreader, I'm now looking for a second one that can help me correct the wording and grammar to make things sound more common.

The game is a city building game with war elements, kinda inspired by games like Age of Empires and Civilization. I developed the game on my own years ago, so the game is already done. All that is missing now is someone who helps me to examine the English texts for errors and inconsistencies. That means I'll send you the game and you play it. Whenever you discover a mistake, you send me a screenshot and tell me what's wrong and how you'd better formulate it.

Please contact me via pm if you are interested in proofreading the game.

@Twoface: I really like that world map art. Is it a city management game?

Thanks. :) Yeah, kind of. It's a strategy game with economic and war elements.

My average review score

You frogged.. pardon, dropped some really nice reviews in the past. Some of them are quite entertaining. Whenever you write a review, I like to read it.

Castle Warfare

Wow, we've reached the checkpoint of 100 downloads. Many thanks to everyone who downloaded the game and had fun with it.

@ Sidewinder:
I love this! There's not much else I could say. But I love this.

@ Momeka:
Pretty nice work. Like what I see. Is this made with VXA Marta?

@ My progress:
I'm just about to translate an older game of mine that I still like very much. The work is progressing well and I hope you will like it. I'll probably be looking for proofreaders in the near future. I will keep you up to date.

The Shift Saga: Esoteric Review

The shooter game was actually made by Galv. It's Galv's Invader Mini Game and it seems like it's just copied and pasted into this game without changing anything.

Favorite examples of menu design?

author=narcodis
One beautiful example I think about often is the menu for Dishonored.

Damn, now I want to have a title screen of this quality for my own games.

Personally, I like this type of main menu especially in strategy games.

Simplicity of basic source menus is one of my all times favourites. I think more complicated fancy looks often look off. They don't trust the game to sell on its own.

I see your point here. However, the title screen is the first thing you see about a game and therefore it's important for the first impression. That's why I understand it when a developer puts a lot of effort into it to make it look as fancy as possible.

Making games? What motivates you?

author=Healy
I make games because I like playing games, and often the games I want to play don't exist yet.

That's exactly what I think.

New DEEP 8 Demo now available!

Well, I'll give it a go during the next days I think.

Railroad Tracks Review

Let me leave a big thumbs up for the headline of this review.
