No, the script places the battler differently. It doesn't use the x,y of 0,0 the way default battlers are aligned, unfortunately. I am sending a copy out to the author today to have it fixed up. Should be all uphill from there.
Also, we are using window graphics because they are customizable by the player.

As stated, everything in these screen shots is subject to major change. We are going to actually use the same HP bar graphics from Breath of Fire II with the same colors. In addition to that, we are going to use eight mono-spaced fonts as well, selectable by the player at any time. There are other blog posts here concerning the game fonts if you want to know more about them.
Almost everything you see here with the exception of the battle background(s) and character sprites will most likely change several times before any release.

well, we felt like you needed the help.
I never turn down assistance!
Another idea: can a character prerequisite be put in place? You know how sometimes you go to create a password and it needs to be x amount of characters long? I mean I don't agree with forcing someone to write more if they don't want to or don't have anything more to say, but perhaps making a requirement of enough characters to fill at least a paragraph would solve this whole problem.
Dunno how this got past submissions.
I get a ton of that spam on the game page for Evania: The Bulan Conflict. Hasn't happened in a while, though.

That was a big concern for us before we started the project, but we agreed that trying to reproduce the game with updated graphics or using other graphics would simply take way too long and detach a lot of familiarity with the original game.
I wish we could do it, but alas, it doesn't look like we can. If anything ever changes with that decision, though, of course we'd do it. Instantaneously.

or perhaps the blogging privileges of those who do not make funtime blog updates can be removed...yes...prepare to meet your maker breath of fire 2 remake
I posted one short blog on a game page that is otherwise incredibly informative, not only in general but on a personal level with any community member that comments on it. I make sure I answer any questions that anyone has and I present any suggestions made to the project team so you can stop your crying now. Thanks for all the attention, though. We do appreciate the traffic increase.
P.S. Rewards for "good" blog posts? Are there people here that are THAT insecure that they need yet another digital pat on the back from complete strangers? Not a good idea. Perhaps the suggestion that was made previously of a thumbs up/down system would be beneficial in measuring the content that this community desires.
But then again, when someone gets a few thumbs downs clicked on them, I can see the massive temper tantrums that will cause.
Here's another suggestion, and this is a long shot, but maybe if the blog creators had the option to make their individual postings "read only," (no replies) that would probably help quell a lot of negativity surrounding them. Additionally, blog posts that are set to read-only by the creator shouldn't show up on the main page section for latest blog posts. This way if someone feels the need to post a blog about their game that isn't long enough, informative enough, or if they're posting something that doesn't involve their game (it is a blog after all, this is bound to happen a lot), they can do so without bumping other game's blog posts or raising the ire of the community.
The issue here is that users will most likely not always remember to select to have their new blog post as read-only, or they will fail to check this setting on purpose. In that case, manual moderation may be the only way... as Magi has already started doing.
Honestly, I don't see a problem with a short blog post once in a while. If a person is otherwise too busy to write a lot, but still wants to drop a line to his or her subscribers to say, "Hey, I'm working on something right now but I'll update in a few days" I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Doing it all the time, of course, that is a problem. I have yet to subscribe to a game page that has this problem, though.

One important fix is that placing enemy battlers (in the database Troops tab of RMXP) is difficult at this time because the script doesn't allow us to use a single frame image to place them around. Thus, we have to place them with their entire frame set visible in the tab, and most of the enemy battlers are ten frames each at double their original resolution. I've put in a request with the author of the script to help us fix this problem.
Once this is corrected, we can show larger enemy parties. For now, we're testing battles against single enemy parties.
