Here are a few more of Leon's Paradigms...

Chivalry: Protects allies who are low on HP from physical attacks. This Paradigm is essential in maximizing Leon's ability to tank for the party when used in conjunction with abilities like Guardian and Sentinel, or Relics that automatically apply status conditions like Protect and Shell.

Divine Blessing: Leon's physical attack restores some MP. This Paradigm is very useful for those who like to use Leon offensively, keeping his MP up so he can continually use his Holy Arts abilities. Protection from the Drain element has no effect on this Paradigm.

Two-Handed: Increases the damage dealt by physical attacks, Judgment Blade, Hallowed Bolt, Crush Armor and Saint's Cross by 50%. Leon cannot perform critical hits while using this Paradigm.

Indomitable: Changes Leon's Guardian command ability to Sentinel. This command is invaluable against enemies who rely on physical attacks, as it gives Leon an 80% reduction in damage received while holding the stance and guarantees a counter-attack when he's targeted by a physical attack.

Unbreakable Will: Leon has a 50% chance to avoid most negative status conditions while using this Paradigm. Using this Paradigm when facing enemies that like to use debilitating status conditions frees up his Relic slots for more choices.

Warrior of Light: Healing items and spells used on Leon restore 25% more HP.

Holy Spirit: While using this Paradigm, Leon is immune to Dark-elemental damage, and will absorb Holy-elemental damage. It also gives the effects of two Relics in one, without the use of a Relic slot. PROTIP: Pairing him with Dajh or Vicks while using this Paradigm can give the party non-conventional healing methods by targeting Leon with Holy-elemental spells for a fraction of the MP cost of big healing spells like Curaga.

NOTE: Leon has two more Paradigms not listed here. Good luck unlocking them all!

Dunan Unification War? Forget that, let's put those differences aside and join together to fight the real threat: a rabbit.

Leon - Rebalanced

RMN is the home of FFD ;)

Leon - Rebalanced

... ... ... Yes, it's called Guardian and was covered in this blog post. ;P

Leon - Rebalanced

1) I'm not sure on changing his attack animations when using the Two-Handed paradigm, but if I have the time for it, I'll definitely do it. I like to cover all the little details I can.

2) His primary role in battle will always be as the party member who can take a hit. He can dish out the damage too, but he won't be as physically strong as, say, Reeve or Beclem. His Judgment Blade skill ignores defense, and he has two other elemental attacks (Hallowed Bolt and Saint's Cross, respectively). All of his offensive Holy Art abilities have the chance to apply some debilitating status conditions to slow the enemy down, like lowering their attack power, taking away their chances to score critical hits, etc.

He has no dedicated healing abilities, but Holy Circle can give party members the ability to heal themselves with physical attacks.

3) Of the artwork that Paul has provided thus far, my favorite designs are most definitely Reeve and Leon. Leon is going to pair up well with any party members who can't take a physical beating, like the mages (Lyra, Wedge, Ellie, etc.). If I had to pick one, I'd say Lyra, since one of Leon's Paradigms enhances his compatibility with her in battles. More on that later.

Dajh - Rebalanced

Certain characters excel in some areas over others, for example Vicks and Stiltzkin are the best healers, but Parker and Lyra can hold their own in that department, as well.

Cid doesn't have the highest Attack Power (an honor held by Beclem and Reeve) but some of his Tools can ignore defense, putting him in the same damage-dealing class as them.

This also seems like a really goofy name for an "Arabic" location.

Dajh - Rebalanced

I've been extremely careful not to let characters fall to the wayside in terms of usefulness. ALMOST every character has a Paradigm that changes their command ability.

Cid: Steal to Mug (steal while attacking)
Reeve: Jump to Dive (increased damage + charge time)
Vicks: Blessing to Recover (cure negative status)
Wedge: Focus to Charge (MP recovery)
Dajh: Study to Poach (capture enemies for items)

Just to name a few...

Dajh - Rebalanced

I'd say the best party for players looking to treasure hunt would be Cid, Parker, Dajh and Priscilla.

Each of them have abilities that lend themselves well to players who want to increase their item inventories.

Dajh - Rebalanced

Protip: A smart team-up would be Wedge and Dajh, since Wedge has access to Graviga and can instantly cut the HP of the enemy target in range for Poach to be successful. =P
