For a polluted water it looks quite clean. Just a small thing but I don't know. Other then that it looks great as usual.
The actual screenshot vs. the screenshot in the comments definitely makes it look more polluted, but I agree with you: you shouldn't be able to see to the bottom of filthy water. Definitely on the right track with progression though, seeing where it originally started.
Maybe just make it a bit cloudier if the pollution thing is going to be important to the area?

Also if you're really in it just to top these lists it just makes sense to try your hand at a Final Fantasy fan game, there's no stopping them!

Since you're scrapping the world map in favor of field maps, are you guys worried about hitting the 999 map limit?
I don't foresee that being an issue, no.

You're welcome! It makes me happy whenever I'm able to help.
Do you have some more info regarding the demo, like which quarter of 2014 (if you plan to release a demo this year) you'd like to release it?
And you have quite a few locations from the Ivalice Alliance, subseries which I haven't really played, and that's counting Final Fantasy XII if it's official IA entry.
Will the Thunder Plains feature the lightning dodge minigame? ;P
And there appears quite a few locations suggesting that there is some kind of rail transportation, but the demos didn't really show anything suggesting something like that. Still, would be nice to have something like that; like i Final Fantasy IX aircabs were used to travel between various districts of Lindblum.
You're asking a lot of question we're not ready to answer yet. We're not going to talk about anything new until we're ready to talk about it.

That's quite a choice since your trying to keep an old school feel to the games.
That was never the mission statement of this project. It was simply to re-create systems from the console Final Fantasy games and make them work together. The aesthetics of the game are a consequence of the program's limitations and asset availability, at the end of the day.

Goodbye indeed! Its funny how we came to this decision a week ago... and the day the new world map travel system is unveiled is the day the "World map or not?" topic is posted in the forums.
I still wish we could have kept it, but alas... this works too.
