What's Coming Up Soon!

Ok, another update!

Managed to sort out the bestiary after getting loads of errors, so that's done. Phew!
Still having problems sorting out the jump tile blocks. I'm getting there though.

And...duh duh duh! I said I was'nt going to do it but I think I've found a way - hookshotting with the Dragon Claw! As we speak I'm modding the giant tree map to see if it works well. Fingers crossed!

What's Coming Up Soon!

Good morning everyone, and a status update for you all!

Been working on Benjamin's jump since last night and having terrible trouble with the tile ID's and which ones he can and can't jump over. Annoying as hell but I'm determined to do it. With the jump action and hopefully when it's done I'll be changing some of the maps around to make use of it (Giant Tree , Lava Dome, Doom Castle mainly).

Ah also I've been working on the Bestiary option in the menu as well which will add some more goodness to the game :)

Just finished the game. Good game but the last few bosses were to easy. Could be because my Banjamin is 99. xD The Dark King was ok though^^ Cant wait for Post-Game Stuff^^

Yeah I could make their stats a bit higher. But LOL least you can't use Exit on them like you could in MQ! :P

I wonder... Do these fights look like Final Fantasy XIII-2 Coliseum DLC? What I mean is that the enemy speaks a few lines, or enemy talks with the party, and then they only fight.

Also, where did you get this image for Yunalesca? Ace RTP doesn't have that; guess it's from a Japanese website.

The only bosses that actually speak in-battle in this game are Ice Golem, Water Hag and Dark King. All other bosses speak before the battle starts.

I wonder if the Final Fantasy series related bosses (like Yunalesca you recently presented) could drop an item sealed with their "Limit Break-of sort" ability. Also, the item would be usable in battle, but it would come with a cost... That would be cool!

And maybe costumes... Like Kaeli wearing white mage's attire, Phoebe red mage's one, Reuben of a viking, Tristam of Locke, or Benjamin of Bartz. Just giving some ideas. Although, I do realise that it might be quite eventful, but would be cool, nonetheless. (Well, Final Fantasy X-2, Dissidia, Dissidia 012, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and some other FF titles do contain alternate outfits...)

Well there's an expansion planned for when you finish the game, so anything could happen :)

Per request on Yunalesca's battle image: I run Google Chrome aside of the folder where I have the game installed. My laptop's stats (which I think you need to help me fix my problems with launching the game):
OS: 7 Home Premium (64b)
CPU: Intel Core i5 2430M
VRAM: NVIDIA GT520MX gDDR 1GB_HBR
MEMORY: 4 GB
ODD: Super Multi Dual Layer (SATA)

Similar specs to sabin's.
Try doing the following:
Run the game in compatibility mode with XP or Windows Vista
Run as aministrator
Shut down ALL running programs except for critical programs that you need open
Programs such as Steam are known to cause problems.

Refer to the post I made to sabin about this, he resolved it:
