SBESTER'S PROFILE
I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.

Eden Legacy: A Knight of Eden
I'm sorry, I don't know why that would be happening. I'm taking the game down because apparently there's a new glitch in the second town (I haven't touched that area during my bug fixes... and it seemed to be working fine in the old version so I'm really confused). I'm going to fix these problems and then load up an RTP included package which should fix the problem you're having.
Games and Why You Play Them
This is a fairly small community, and a lot of you have known each other for a while. I don't know what relationships exist between any of you, really, so when I read a negative review on here I can't help but wonder if the reviewer is just being spiteful.
There you have an outsider's opinion. I rarely listen to bad reviews.

Games and Why You Play Them
I'd agree with kentona, even though his games have probably been played and enjoyed more than any others here lol. None of my personal friends really play RPGs, so I don't get to show my games off. So even one comment from an internet user saying they played and enjoyed my game is pretty cool to me. It's just a hobby, anyway.

Yeah the new one is pending, but use that megaupload link at the top there and it'll take you to the newest version.
Games and Why You Play Them
Y'know many more people are playing and liking these games than you'd think. I used to be one of those net users who bummed around all the RM sites, got the games, played 'em, and never said anything about it.
Since joining RMN I've been more keen on actively supporting the creators of these games. That's something RMN has that no other community really does. I mean, sure, we still all post our games on other forums to reach a wider audience, but we all come back here to actually talk about development. I like that.
Now to be more on topic, I'm a dick. I don't play demos, or betas, or anything other than a completed game because A) I hate the idea that I'll have to replay it when the full version is released and B) I don't like the idea of possibly running into game breaking bugs and not being able to finish. I don't expect commercial-like quality, but in some ways I do have certain expectations.
I like playing RM games because often they don't take 40-60 hours to beat, and they can still be engaging and fun. I'm more attracted to titles in a series, because it shows that the creator is dedicated to the world they've made and I won't be stuck waiting forever for full versions to be released.
