Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

I don't know if this is a glitch or what, but I'm at the beach area after the Kobold Fort and I can't get the kids to follow me all the way up the stairs. They stop right at the top tile of stairs and then stop, but the bunnygirl keeps telling me to make sure they are all the way up the stairs. I managed to get two of them to go up an additional step, but I can't get any of the others to do it.
How do I go about defeating Loki? I've tried countless times my first thought was to kill the ones she summoned but that didn't seemed to work and I only manage to do 100- to Loki, I have no idea how to finish this fight. (probably the most stressful boss fight I've encountered in all the games I've played, I think it's a good thing) but could someone give me a hint on how to win this fight?

and also is it too late to finish the side-quests before this? I got pretty worried after I couldn't use the portal transport
@rebel1223
Well, that glitch is unheard of as far as I can tell. The kids should be able to come right up and be collected so I don't know what's going on there... Which kid is it?

@AwakenTheDemons
The technique to beating Loki is to focus all your attacks on her. Repeatedly kill her and only her. Her puppets will eventually die as she dies.
Also, I believe in V1.00 and V1.01 she is very powerful, but I weakened her in V1.02... So if you're still having difficulty, I recommend updating if you haven't already.
And also, you will be able to do all side quests still so don't worry!

It was the little blonde girl that was running around in the southwest. The other kids had a hard time getting up to the top but like I mentioned it eventually worked, though I had to go almost out of the area to get it to happen.

I was just about to edit my original post though. I closed out of the game and retried it in fullscreen and it worked perfectly fine, so it looks like it may be a fullscreen/windowed mode issue.

edit: Though I should point out that I did try switching from windowed to fullscreen without reloading the game completely and it was still not working, so it may be an issue with loading the area or something along those lines.
thanks for replying so fast!
I'm so glad I can finish the side-quests off well mainly the one with robbing the fat girl (this has to be the best side-quest I've ever come across). I especially like how you kept the characters personality's (I've played a few games where they change right after you meet them) this has to be one the greatest game I've played that I've found on this website!
I'm only about twenty minutes into the game but I'm actually having a lot of fun playing this. It's a very competent, polished RPG. I'm not the biggest fan of some of the scripts used (like the victory window or titlescreen) but those are very minor nitpicks.
@AwakenTheDemons
Try gearing your characters with armors that reduce/absorbs elemental attacks that the dummy uses(ice and lightning, if I remember) to survive the fight longer. Also, use weapons with properties like burn/poison to easily inflict damage to loki even if she guards.(She guards during the entire fight)
I have no idea what went wrong before I posted but after I got told how to finish the battle I started to do 4k damage with Falk so she dies in 3 hits unless she dodges, I don't know what happened before that but it seems to work alot better now. I think my main problem was everyone being under levelled (except Falk and Fate, I really should of worked on everyone else but I got lazy) so really I just have Fate using recover and Falk attacking while everyone else defends dies and occasionally using sp potions. in any case I appreciate the assistance :)
Ah, That's good to hear, onwards with your journey then! :)

Sir Luster, wanted to ask if THIS is a skill crystal and if there's anyway to get it(or maybe I'm not trying hard enough to find the solution @.@). Thanks.

Oops, I must have put that there by mistake. So... Yeah, it's impossible to get as it is. Sorry :P
XD okie then thanks for the reply sir Luster

Umm, Sir Luster, I'm gonna report another bug on the COKE DREAM side quest.

@Sir Luster

-WARNING SPOILER INSIDE, DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU HAVE ALREADY FINISHED THE "COKE DREAM" SIDE QUEST-

Seems like this time after you put all 7 coke flavors in their respective chambers and enter the area of the coke fountain., after the dialogue ends it loops two more times then the screen blacks out.

Here's a video of it Sir Luster:

ONCE AGAIN WARNING, CONTAINS SPOILERS.

Also Sir Luster, would you need my save file to check what is causing the glitch/bug?
I don't know what could be causing that. Okay, send me your save file through the mailbox and I'll check it out
Okay!
That annoying glitch is fixed and I've re-uploaded V1.03.
There is no reason to update from 1.02 to 1.03 except if you want to complete the Coke Dream. That is all~
cool game so far just some minor bugs like sp when lvl up its mp not sp and mana its gold from monsters.
actually i think this was intentionally done like that mana is a gold and sp is mp
or at least with mana it was intentionally
I had the exact same problem as Kaze so much thanks for making a v1.03!!

Problem is though, I don't know how to update my Lunar Wish. Do I just download the whole thing like before? Do I have to replace anything? And will my save files still be intact? (Obvious paranoia HAHAHA)

You just have to download the entire file again. And about your save file just copy your previous save file and paste it in you new downloaded version. It's file name should be "Save(number).rvdata"
I'm stuck in the game. Please, could someone tell me what do do next?

I got banned from the recruitment center in the Moo Moo chick farm, and now, I don't know where to go. I didn't aquire any diary update as well.
