Hallo, I make games.
I'm a mapper/writer and try to escape all other aspects of dev as much as I can.
My pastimes include consuming unhealthy amounts of manga, yaoi pr0n and begging people to work with me so I don't have to event or do gameplay.

Also expect HOARDS of typos from me. And rants. Much typoed rants.

The DS set is defs a wonder to work with IF you manage to egt enough tiles for a zone >< It can be a bit of a cheeky bastard when you need anything it doesnt already have, like any sort of small item clutter or jsut MORE FRIGGIN ROCKS AND FLOWERS ;-;

I'm sad to say it's still as much work as working with rtp. MAPPING WHY YOU NOT EASIER TT^TT

VorlorN Review

"My only real problem is that, when I recognized a music track"
SO. SO MUCH THIS. ;A; (Specially with the ico/shadow of colossus/journey tracks oh god)

Pretty much agree with the review. I didn't get very far in the game not because it was bad, but because the tedious (SLOWWWNESS)/too many friggin monsters repeated/audio details kept kicking me over and making me go HNNGG NO YOU DID NOT USE THAT.

Also the sword is bull. I'm putting it otu there >c
Athmosphere is great, which makes the downsides sting a bit more than they would usually.

The Grumpy Knight Review

I forgot to comment to this gaaaahhh.

Anwyay, THANKS A MILLION for the review! And yes, our gameplay can be defined by "what has fomar been playing lately" XD (not that it's a bad thing~)

Glad you enjoyed the game, drawbacks and all. We'll get better ;) (I have tosay omg comparing THESE endings to Subject's is like comparing...two very different things) XD The different endings for this I kinda pulled out of my ass, while Subject was DESIGNED that way. (But yeah, they're pretty superflous).

Radiant Chain

That nice ass RTP mapping...darn Deckiller staph making me feel insecure aboiut my skills >< *flings shoe*

Subject Review

And today as Indrah tries to attend all the stuff she had left aside "for later"....

I FORGOT TO COMMENT TO THIS IM SO SORRY IM TERRIBLE ;A;
Thanks a lot for the review. I'm happy you enjoyed the game, even with its drawbacks.
Myself I'm content with it, considering the timeframe (and my messed up OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT mindframe at the time, let it be said). It's far from perfect and there are a lot of things I'd do differently now, but still something I can be proud of.

I find the endings got a varied reception from different peeps. Some seemed quite happy with them, others like you seemed to have some issues with the lack of information. I always thought NOT being too informative was what made horror scary (well, this game isnt really THAT but yaknow...) so I stopped myself from spelling anything out too clearly.

As for what is considered the good and bad endings...I refrain from commenting. I enjoyed writing this way too much, and none of the "factions" here could be classified as "pure good". Who "wins" has not much to do with goood or bad...long story short, the purely "good" ending would be Rescue, and the neutral good would be Freedom.
In Rescue, you (the subject) get rescued by a sympathetic researcher instead of the experimenting scientist or the special forces.
In Freedom, you get out free by yourself and escape.
What happens after that, who knows?

Also, my personal fav is the mirror,
simply because FUCK YEAH CARNAGE AND DESTRUCTION.

Ahem. I'll stop now XD

Hey, Nuzaku. I was suggested this game for an LP. In the end I could only make it a Let's Try due to some trouble with the gameplay and lack of interest due to many little details ruining my experience.

Feedback substacted from the general ranting, you can just skip to the end for the overall review: http://youtu.be/5N0pwSCDfqA

Genral points I had trouble with:
-Too much artificial slowing: walking speed on stairs, slow text and dialog, pauses during cutscenes too long, etc.
-Too many monsters make encounters boring. The monsters in the corridors are more of an annoyance than any interest or tension. They broke interest in the game very fast when they started popping in on each corridor.
-The sword is full of bullshit >V Using it is such a pain I didn't even notice I COULD, which is why I eventually stopped. Some guidance on critical controls like that is an absolute must. (and actually USING the sword is stupid, definitely try to fix that hideous hit detection/enemies spazzing out)
-Using music from beloved games just pisses me the fuck off. I'm sorry. It's nothing agains the game itself, it's just a slap in the face to me. Those games have enough meaning to me that using them in another game will just trigger a NO NO NO reaction in me.
-No huds for health, no menus, no quest hints, no maps, no item list.

Overall, I feel the game was ruined for me because of a lot of details (that are easily fixable, really) that just got in the way. It's a pity, because at the start it seemed really promising. If it got some fixes, I would probably have enjoyed it till the end.
Still, this game is not BAD by any means, I jsut bitch because the details got in the way and pissed me off >.<
