Hi all !
I like 16-bits RPGs (especially action RPGs) where you feel the quest behind the lines of code. I also like strategy, puzzle solving, immersive stories, tabletop RPG and LARP.
I'm a hobbyist C programmer who likes to work on custom game mechanics. My very first project was a very basic map generator for Genesia, aka Ultimate Domain https://rpgmaker.net/users/Irog/locker/UltimateDomainWorld.zip
I also want to help developers polishing their projects with my player feedback. So I'll be happy to test your game !
See you around,
Irog

I fixed a few bugs in my game. The new version is available from the gamepage.

Our king of stats provides the "number of accepted games with a download without a review" each month... sounds like a good indicator!
Touhou ~ Ethereal Kaleidoscope Review
It's always best to create your own IP and avoid fangame.
Your floor layout has dead ends with treasure and dead ends without treasure. This builds an interesting forest to explore rather than a game maze with treasure at every dead end.
Playing your game is fun and shows the ramifications of your design choices. I work on a top down shooter so it's good to see how other developers build their game.

I'm finally done with my Crown of Glass: the last 2 reviews are pending. So I'm a bit late for the party... but the 10H challenge is just what I need!
I'am finally unbanned!!!
Welcome back.
I hope it only denied access to your account and message positing while letting you visit topics, game pages and download other developer's games.

The Legend of Zelda (Solarus Edition) Review
The Legend of Zelda (Solarus Edition) Review
Adding sword pot smashing in 2D Zelda is a plus if done right.
If Link finds his sword early and never has to defeat enemies trowing pots at them; you've done your player a disservice. He/She will smash all the pots and will never learn then enjoy the fun of trowing them at enemies.
If Link has to defeat some enemies trowing pots at them before he gets the sword, you've shown the player how fun it is to use pots this way. Then it's up to the player to choose what's most fun for him/her depending on the situation. In rooms filled with enemies, I enjoy throwing pots at them. But in rooms without enemy I prefer to smash pots. Actually, in A Link To The Past, I pull out the hammer to smash pots in a single action and indeed the sound is not as satisfying as in Ocarina Of Time.
