The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)
"Greetings, everybody. How is business going? We brought some more materials. With all the stuff we have now, we could probably outfit a whole regiment. Say, have you already ordered some of the things I asked for?" Then I turn towards Wes and say: "Oh, and you might want to keep an eye on your kid..."
----------
To be honest, I've lost track of all our crafting materials and what we can do with them. I still want to get a hatchet and better armour. What possibilities do we have for that? And who wants some of those runes and essences?
Oh, and we should sell all the materials we don't need. We're running a bit low on money as it is.

"Kid, I'm not sure if somebody has told you this before, but... you're really weird, you know that? Fine, if you want to carry that bloody mess around with you, suit yourself. Just don't expect me to clean your stuff afterwards or carry it for you if you get tired."
I'll take the runes, essences, Power Stones, the shell chunk and as many Murkal scales as I can realistically carry without becoming as slow as a snail. Then we should get out of here and join the rest of the group again.
Edit: seiromem, a question: Can Gourd (the raven) also level up with a power stone?

Ukraine: protests against the withdrawal from future with EU
I usually avoid posting in topics like these because I find it hard to constructively discuss such issues in forums. But I just can't get around it this time.
Lato, it is very obvious you have strong opinions, and there is nothing fundamentally wrong with that. I can't and won't try to convince you to change your position and suddenly start hating Putin and the Russian government or such things. I only want you to ask yourself: What is truly important?
You make is sound as if the desire of Eastern Ukrainians to keep their Country intact and not join Russia is worth less than the desire of the others that want to be Russian. Why is that? Is really worth it to have so many people killed and become killers just for the sake of changing a few borders? Are notions of an "Empire" more important than the humans in the countries you're talking about? Wouldn't a real father rather try to keep his children alive and well by supporting them instead of caring more about the ground they are living on than about their actual lives?
I'm not foolish enough to think America or Europe or any other part of the world is perfect and never makes mistakes. I strongly disagree with many of Russia's polictical decisions, but that doesn't mean I dislike Russians as people. Similarly, there are a lot of things wrong in other parts of the world, including the part I live in, and I am glad many people stand up against those social evils. But calling others "scum" because they represent an idea of the world you do not support is going very far.
You say you have faith. Are the Ukrainians not allowed to have faith in their respective country? Or the Americans, for that matter? They are humans just like you, after all. Why would you respect the wishes of some, but not those of others?
Now, those images of the leader of a state being like a "father" and bringing people from neighbour countries "back home" are expressions that have been used to justify aggressions in the past a lot. Even Germany used those exact words for propaganda campaigns during the Second World War. So it is no wonder Linkis was being sceptical about your utterances.
Don't get me wrong. I am not trying to compare anyone here to Nazi Germany. All I am trying to say is: Do not idealize. Being angry about one side's bad actions but ignoring those of another can easily set you on a very wrong path. Don't allow that happen to yourself.

(Solved) [RMXP] Popup Script error
Update:
Well, what do you know? I managed to find out what causes the crashes: The popup script I use to display variables and text strings on-screen. I tested what happened if I constantly make it create and delete new popups, and after about twenty seconds it crashed the game. My guess is that the command which erases all current popups does not entirely delete them but keeps the values stored somewhere, so that after exceeding a certain number it becomes too much for the RGSS to handle.
Of course this is just a guess, and since I know close to nothing about scripting, I might be completely wrong here. Unfortunately, I got the original script from a German RPG Maker community whose site does not exist in that form any more. Neither is the script itself available from there now, nor would I be able to contact the original creator.
Would anyone with more knowledge of Ruby be willing to help me clean up the script? It is an essential part of my project, so doing away with it is no real option.
Thanks a lot already.
Edit 2: Never mind. After experimenting a lot with the script, I actually managed to find a solution to my problem. Hooray! This thread has therefore become obsolete.

Thanks a lot, unity. You're unbelievably awesome! ^_^

Neat! Can I maybe reserve a spot for a game I'm currently working on but haven't made publicly available yet? You could put it at the very bottom of the list if you wanted, because I'm not sure when exactly I'll be able to finish and upload it.
Of course, if that is not an option for you, I would understand that, too.

The Highlander's Tomb (Team Forum RPG)
Sheesh, there's no way we can take all of that stuff with us. We'll definitely take the runes, essences and Power Stones. The shell chunk might also be useful (maybe as a shield for Zuko?). I don't know if we still need more Murkal scales, and I have no clue as to why we should want the Murkal lungs. Gross...
