Characters have set jobs (but you can freely swap characters), so no graphic changing besides with status ailments like Toad.

They have been, and so have FF5 and FF6... they are just really, really hard to find. In fact I'm not entirely sure I could find them again if I tried. If you'd like them though let me know. I'm kind of hoarding them and they were used minimally in this game just in case we ever get ambitious enough to do another game so it can have a different look.

It was there in another form, but the area has been completely remapped for this version with tiles from FF Dimensions (yay for tree area in that), since the old map was essentially a sample map with some passages changed and effects added, haha.

I fixed the crashing problem I think, you were having the same issue I had. Sending you a PM with how to fix it.

I'll have a look at it, but I suspect the issue is that you have some pretty complex evented systems running on a huge world map. VX Ace actually handles events way less efficiently than 2k3 did, so systems that caused no lag there may cause it in VX Ace. Because of that, any fixes I do might just break stuff. :/

As for breaking saves, the saves are probably looking for variables that the mode 7 script initialized but are no longer there. The easiest way to deal with that would probably be to have the mode 7 script still in the game, just with no mode 7 maps.

Attack of the Cameos

I totally vote for anyone from Mystic Quest. It'd be a great cameo because it'd be obscure enough that some players might not get it, but to those who do it'd be awesome.

At the end of the game Benjamin and Tristam sailed off into the sunset in search of adventure, so they'd be perfectly suited to appear, too!

October is the harvest month, so I am harvesting information.

Yay for progress! I'm really happy to have been helpful! Though just a note to anyone watching the ATB changes video: The overhead cursor's behavior has been fixed and it now disappears at the start of actions, so it looks a lot nicer~

I've also fixed up a few more ATB issues that UPRC found, like being unable to run away from Back Attacks. Also, Pre-emptive and Back Attacks now have the expected effects on the ATB of characters and enemies.
