Damn son! I tried to design that fight to be fairly rough if you didn't disable the wells. How did you fare against him?
I'm not the one you asked, but I found the fight with Tritoch and all 4 wells up to be *MUCH* easier than the standard boss fights in Reiner's scenario.
Presumably because powered-up Tritoch still had no resistance to the holy element, which both Zephyr and Sapphire could hit hard. It was probably more important that I had the party of my choice though. With one notable exception. YOU MONSTER. That scene hit even harder than the parallel FF one.
I didn't find any little bugs in Berona at all. However afterwards
I'm not sure what I did, but Zephyr's overworld and battle sprite is back to being un-armored shortly after leaving Lindblum Catstle with the airship. Possibly an event inside some of the very early dungeons; I somehow had it in my head that Port Vainstrong was in Linblum, and entered all the old dungeons again ... but I didn't notice exactly when it happened. Haven't found a way to change him back, though he still has the armor in conversation cutscenes.
EDIT: Played another hour or two. Found two minor bugs:
- The Northeastern most stairs in the second level of Horseman's Rest (the first one with waterfalls) don't ... go anywhere. I could walk on top of them, nothing.
- Once you get back from Berona, and at least until after Horseman's Rest, Tenzin is in both Linblum Castle and the shrine with the tonberries.

Bug Report?
Going through Mt. Zagh, Lysha is not opening the 2nd door to Kohlington. She says let me know when your done doing your own stuff and we can go. Not sure what I'm supposed to do next if this is intentional
That's not a bug. Remember, you're there to find the crystal. It's in the northwest.

Three more minor bugs in Lenadia (hope the reports are useful and not aggrivating!):
- When King Edward steps off the throne, his sprite changes to FF6's Locke. Reset once you leave the room.
- Clearing the Overgrowth seems to fire a script to make no enemies appear (as appears intended). But it carries over into the Lenadia Passage. Entering the world map (from either side) fixes it.
- The required party member events in Faluhd Castle are buggy. Cid is initially a required member, but is not in your party (I don't know if he's intended to be powerful, but without speed relics or the ability to equip the most recent summons, he's essentially dead weight.) Additionally, afterward clearing the castle, you can remove Zephyr from being 'on point' well before the in-game event that informs you it is possible, which makes a few intervening conversations buggy.

I got the sailing bug too, on trying to go back to West Dawn Island, after it was no longer relevant to the plot. Black screen, could move, hear sound effects, open the menu - but still a black screen.
Two more minor things I didn't report yet:
- If you replace Zephyr as party leader at the first opportunity (I did with Jasmine) on the way back from Kaipo - on reporting to Cid, Zephyr doesn't show up, but two copies of your leader do.
- Bolt's Dash ability claims to depend on "Trigger's speed". It says this even before you encounter Trigger; dunno what happens if you rename Trigger.
Still enjoying this immensely; just made it to Lenadia. Balance is getting less lopsided; still in no danger of losing, but at least I've had to cure a few times. (I was also just thinking - "Well, the best part about the character select stuff is I'll never have to use Edric for anything." Whoops.)
I hope there's eventually a guide on significant things that Bolt can steal; I don't like feeling forced to bring him to every boss fight. I'd stop doing it, but he stole a Fire2 tome off the second boss in the Citadel; quite the Disk One Nuke, Carina is now temporarily a much better black mage than Hautley!

I'm wondering if I'm going to regret selling off those unlimiters?
Up until random encounters start giving out ~500 gold, the 2500g from them seems way, way more useful than getting off a single double-strength attack.
Same deal to a lesser extent with the sleeping bags.
Am currently being disappointed that Sapphire seems nowhere near as useful as Nobumasa was ; though the dialogue when you let her be the lead character is hilarious. It's amazing how much dialogue seems to differ based off lead character; that must have been a lot of effort for something a lot of people will never even see...

About the arena:
Neither the innkeeper nor the item seller would talk to me (I'm on 1.01).
I also got the crash initially.
After I changed my lead character back to Zephyr, it worked!
(I'm ... not sure why I'm doing it, though? The rewards seem terrible for the effort. Except possibly the Skull Belt and Pumice Piece - anyone have a clue what they do?)

One thing I saw that's not referenced in 1.01 is that the same item seems to be called Iron Ore (at that one crafter in Visage, probably some other spots) and Iridium Ore (as the monster drops it, and in your inventory/shops).
I just finished Echo Temple. You did 3 things that made me ecstatic:
- It sounded like I was about to get a music puzzle. It warmed my tone-deaf heart to see it was only Simon. Otherwise I'd be right here begging for a solution.
- Leaked experience! Sure, it seems to be at 50%, but considering I just finished BP1 with Darius at level 22, I'll take it!
- Able to remove the protagonist! Up until he got the seriously OP Highwind Spear, I always wanted to pull Vahn out of the party as by far its least useful member. Now I can with Zephyr! (Though it's not yet clear Zephyr is the worst...)
The one thing I'd complain about so far: balance. As in, it's way too easy. This may be because I know how RPGMaker and ATB work; and I immediately bought everyone 2 pairs of sprint shoes. Ifrit died after only getting off one attack! Carina's limit bar is still at zero, as nothing has ever lived long enough to attack her! I mean, it's early, and I intentionally grinded for a game breaker, but...
A couple point of confusion:
- The Augurer Colosseum - it sounds like there are supposed to be pokemon battles there? All I can do so far are buy whistles; and those only seem to award monster crystals I already have? I saw the cockatrice pop up on my return trip - is it just so Zephyr and Reiner don't miss out on skills? Or what?
- Wedge and Biggs. It looks like those 10 cards I picked up were removed; but can I actually give them Flan Oil? They don't want it :(
- Speaking of Cards - I was told there was a player in the Colosseum; there wasn't. And the Hummingway in Kaipo had ... level 5 rarity cards? What happened to 3 and 4? I still beat him...

... but ... I'm still replaying #1. I might be finished tomorrow? Just offed the five fiends, but there appear to be like a dozen bonus dungeons that weren't there when I played a few years back...
Thanks for all the hard work! In a day or three, I'll definitely be giving this a whirl!

You can basically break every character in the game to do stupid amount of damage or defense or whatever with the correct setup.
Not kidding there. My Karina was a beast, but if I ever go back to play again, she'd be even moreso; as, um, you, Ashiee, had gotten a lot of the early +STR level ups before I decided to stop using you.
Abelia wound up my MVP; mostly because she was wearing the best INT materia through the whole game, and because Ultima+Economizer. Karina was eventually sort of close to that. Cassie made sure nobody could ever die. And Divinus ... basically doubled everyone else's effectiveness. For not really having much to her character story-wise, she sure is strong...
