It hurts my eyes, skeleshark. The colors contrast one another far too much. Darken the whites, lighten the blacks, and desaturate the blue a bit and it'll be better. As of right now, I honestly could never see myself playing that. Fix the colors, though, and it'll look pretty unique and cool.

Definitely better, but now it's a little too washed out, in my opinion. I tried my hand at editing it a bit.
I also thought it might be cool if you got rid of white altogether and did something like this, but it's up to you.
Either would be fine. There's definitely further edits you can do to improve it more, I'm just helping you get started.

it feels like cheating to name a project that was being developed over here, but Akropolis was full of interesting stuff and I'd be curious to see where it was all headed.
That's no problem. I intended for this topic to be for RPG Maker and other indie games, but I'm cool with discussing cancelled professional games.

Banjo Xwould have been nice, but unfortunately it morphed into the vile beast known as Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Pretty much the same thing as cancelling it if you ask me.
All the other games I can think of are my own. I don't generally put a lot of stock in games, or enough to care if they get cancelled, anyhow.
It's funny, my brother swears Nuts & Bolts is actually an amazing game and he lists it as one of his favorites. We grew up playing the originals, too.
