SBESTER'S PROFILE
I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.
Currently working on
-Crime Opera Trilogy (Mafiosi 1, 2, & 3 edited, with all original resources)

Progress (Non)Update
How do you go about plotting out combat progression?
lol not always. My beta testers were way better at my game than i was. I prolly just suck at RPGs in general, doesn't stop me from lovin'em though.

I think it's really too subjective to do this the "right" way.
Some people prefer grind fests, others hate them, and the rest are somewhere in the middle.
Some people like the enemies to be somewhat challenging throughout, others like a challenge that falls into an easy lull, then move on to the next area where the enemies are quite rough again.
I basically tinker around with the stats until I accidentally fall upon a progression that works for me, which is often what doesn't work for most people lol. I enjoy a bit of a challenge, but not at the cost of long battles.

Translating Works
Oh, good news!
He's alive and I now have consent! I suppose he just hasn't been too active in the community much lately.

Translating Works
lol no, although someone needs to fix those ones up eventually :P
It's "Dyhortfight" by bradgeone, a series that was hailed for its technical prowess in 2001 (waaaaaaaay back) although the second and third are supposed the be much better than the first. I'm just hoping no one translated them under a different name already, my google searches came up empty for english versions.
