SBESTER'S PROFILE
I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.
Currently working on
-Crime Opera Trilogy (Mafiosi 1, 2, & 3 edited, with all original resources)

I make games when I'm bored.
If I wanna be artistic I'll go play my guitar or write my novel.
The way this discussion has drifted is pretty laughable.

2 versions of the game
Haven't even attempted it yet lol
I'm still more bummed about the music not working than anything. Although I probably just need to reinstall the program. The longer I put it off the longer I get to hold onto hope.

I know narcodis, the things you had qualms with I really hope will be fixed for the original version for the full release. Better mapping, fixed stats and skills, quicker and clearer plot progression. I'm working on that stuff right now. It's much easier to find your way around since I've edited the maps, and there are many directional tools around so it isn't as easy to get lost in Pangea.
Jimbo gives very thorough stream of consciousness emails detailing exactly what he's thinking as he treks along, and it has allowed me to understand not just where I've gone wrong but 'how'. He's also got some great ideas for fixing some of the problems that I hope will redeem the more flawed areas of the game. Here's hoping he's got some ideas for the Volcano and Atlantis lol.
I considered the tone change, but the monster graphics seem to be the biggest divider, and the reason I ultimately decided to do this. Plus, I just kinda like the idea of continually being able to update it after the finished product is out. Pangea is a big place, so expanding it is pretty easy. And while the game doesn't 'need' more skills, having more options to choose from is always more interesting.

Mobile Suit Gundam RPG Review
Me too, Guntank and GunCannon were both doing under 5 damage for me. That'll be the first area I fix, I can't even get through the Gouf battle without one of them dying lol
Phantasia 3 Review
I disagree, the dialogue was absolutely the worst part of this game.
The best part of the game is that something is always happening to push you in a new direction. And the mapping is pretty damned well done too.
I think Jaymonious should revisit this and Phantasia 2 to improve the dialogue, as it would make them both a helluva lot more appealing to a wider audience. Maybe he will after Phantasia 5 is released.

A Power Unleashed Ep.1- Race For Supremacy
This title blows.
I'm embarrassed for myself.
I'll change it when I can think of something worthwhile.

Mobile Suit Gundam RPG Review
I'm sure I'll return to it eventually, especially knowing people may actually like it. I'm curious to know how long it took you guys to finish the demo though, and how often you needed to use the simulator to level up and equip the mobile suits. I need to fix that equipping issue as I had the same problem you did in my playthrough against the Gouf. Tough to beat unless all three are at full strength.
