AVEE'S PROFILE
Avee
5794
I started to design games at age 5, drawing maps and sprites with felt pens and paper. Then I began writing stories and game scenarios. I've been working with Rpg Maker 2000 and 2003 mostly, as soon as they came out.
I favor RPGs, Action RPGs and Fighting games. My favorite styles are Fantasy, Horror and anything dark or gothic. I also appreciate cute and funny content.
I make a lot of pixel art and some digital art (concept, promo, fanart, etc.)
I also compose 8-bit music.
Don't be shy and send me a message if you want to commission my work ;)

Final Event XV: The Crystals of Time Review
Thank you the review! I was looking forward to it ever since you played the game a few months ago.
Hehe, that's a little harsh to say about RMN and I hadn't thought about it that way, but I can see how it would be a fitting interpretation. The game itself is a parody, a roast made out of affection, after all. It's okay and positive to laugh at what we love from time to time. XD
I hope you didn't think that my inclusion of the characters' portrait NFTs and the fictional GammakCoins are a condonement of that market.
Everything in this game is a parody and no personal opinions were expressed. I included NFTs and crypto for lulz only.
I'm an artist so... I'm sure you can guess what I think of that market and of AI-generated art.
Sorry for not including an actual battle system so we could blow off some steam on the final boss! I really wanted to, but didn't have enough time to implement everything before the deadline... So the off-screen battle being a joke was a suitable compromise in my eyes, considering the tone of the game.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it overall! Thanks again for playing!
By the way, I've seen a couple of people make that mistake lately, but I'm a dude, always was.
A series of games that are all rather basic, but I suppose it's to be expected when the site is basically a shell of what it once was.

Hero's Realm
$250,000 budget - What's possible?
That's a very interesting topic that hasn't been discussed often here.
Going for a crypto game when your target audience is a small community that you're already a part of seems like an odd choice to me: You mention that you're not looking to make any return on your investment, yet crypto games' main objective is to attract and keep a large number of players. Most of your budget would normally be spent on promotion, advertising the game to attract new players.
If that's not the case, what's in it for you?
By the way, just to be sure, do you plan on paying your development team with cryptocurrency or real money?
The kind of game you're looking for is certainly possible to make within a year and within that budget, as long as you hire experienced and trustworthy people and pay them a decent salary, preferably once a week.
But I have to mention that Chrono Trigger features 16-bit pixel art, and the reference videos you've shared feature 32-bit pixel art enhanced using photo editing software. There's a huge difference between the two styles, and that will be reflected on production time and costs.
It would be helpful to know more about what kind of project you have in mind.
Will you design the game yourself, writing all the production documents to guide your team?
Or would you prefer to hire a game designer that will handle all of that?
In that case, your next step might be to ask people to pitch their ideas and select your favorite. Or you could also play some of the games you can find here, identify your favorite game designers and make them a business proposition.

[RM2K] Need 4 Monster sprites
That's The 7th Saga, but Demon's Crest also uses a similar realistic style.
Do you know what size, in pixels, you'd like the new battlers to be? That will probably determine the price that artists will charge.
For instance, the orange guy in the top left corner is about 40x60.

In need of custom battlers (Casual)
Thanks for the precision.
Are you looking for pixel art battlers (like in SNES games for instance) or hand drawn (using a pentablet, like the VX Ace RTP enemy battlers)?
I think it would be helpful to show one or two of your concept arts so the artists here can get a better idea of what they'll have to draw.

What engine are you working with?
Is there any reference you can provide of another game's battlers that would be similar to what you're looking for?

[RMVX ACE] Can't play games at all. Directional controls broken.
Other plugged or nearby devices could be interfering, or updated drivers (USB or HID), according to similar threads I found:

[RM2K3] How to make my facesets NOT grainy?
That might be because your image has more than the 256 colors limit that RM2k3 can handle.
What software did you use to draw it?
