IROG'S PROFILE

Hi all !

I like 16-bits RPGs (especially action RPGs) where you feel the quest behind the lines of code. I also like strategy, puzzle solving, immersive stories, tabletop RPG and LARP.

I'm a hobbyist C programmer who likes to work on custom game mechanics. My very first project was a very basic map generator for Genesia, aka Ultimate Domain https://rpgmaker.net/users/Irog/locker/UltimateDomainWorld.zip

I also want to help developers polishing their projects with my player feedback. So I'll be happy to test your game !

See you around,
Irog

Thank you hedge1 for this great tool. It will come handy to quickly test fonts in my projects. A few days ago, I spent quite some time in Paint to built a PNG charter table. Your tool makes this process much faster. But I noticed it introduces a column of white pixels between characters of column 10 and 11 when I use the following text input
0123456789ABCDEF

GHIJKLMNOPQRSTUV
WXYZabcdefghijkl
mnopqrstuvwxyz.:
,;|/\'"?!+-*=()_
<>[]#$^²ùµ

and system font: Courier New, regular, 10pt

[Mafia] Anime Waifu Battle Royale! =+= FINISHED =+=

Thank you Libby for the organization of this game. It had a catchy theme and was fun.

Was "Katt" a valid target for the Sacrifice command?

Up for feedback and playtest, preferably for platformer, shooter and VisualNovel as those are the ones I have experience with (bring those sawblades on!), but I can check if your RPG is easy enough to someone without proper strategy are able to get through. :p

If you like to playtest a top-down shooter, I'll make sure to contact you when I've made significant progress in Wizard apprentice Lya. Your help will be greatly appreciated to tune the difficulty.

Irog: nice system, though the bubbles seem a bit simple. I think the thoughts would look better if their box were slightly transparent.

Thanks for your feedback. Transparency is a good idea.

Here are a few tests of larger fonts (normal and bold):

Which one offers the best readability?

Bonjour !

Welcome! Have a good time among us.

Actually, I'm coding a custom engine so what I need is an image holding the font like:

The above is a 8pt font and, to improve readability here, I want to test larger sizes. But tools to generate the images file like http://www.text2image.com produce fuzzy outline.

A website that stores various fonts in image format, in various sizes, would be perfect.

Little bummed out...

as an IT guy and developer, I am surprised anything works, ever.

I'm looking for fonts that are in image format (.png or .bmp) but my searches led to truetype fonts (.ttf or .otf).

Do you know where to find fonts in image format ?

Do you know tools to convert the truetype format into image?
