Everything looks good except the enlarged book picture. I sort of feel like it clashes with the sleek, modern look you seem to be aiming for with your menus.

Yeah, I hate that part of Yanfly's scripts (this script inherits from it even though YF didn't write it). I'll figure something out about getting rid of it or putting something else there.

Speaking of, those menu aesthetics are getting a bit of a makeover soon.

Leon Leveled Up!

We've wanted to include Spellblade for a long time now, and days ago I was finally able to get the scripts required to behave the way I wanted. I took a little rewriting, but it's working to perfection now.

Now, I've got something in the works with Blitz techniques that I briefly mentioned before. That's up next!

I'm going to be a little blunt here.

This is my least favorite of your normally awesome, perfectly personality fitting designs. The outfit looks like... I dunno, but not anything a Ranger or Hunter would be wearing, especially one who would be totally outdoorsy the way this character is.

Everything about it says military. I'm not a fan of this one. But whether we decide to use it or not, keep it for the art unlocks! :)
You're right, needs more skin. I demand bras that are a couple of sizes too small (for that overflowing butt crack cleavage that makes all the boys go "woooooo") and thongs yanked up to the ribcage. Better yet, skip tight undergarments altogether and just go straight for historically accurate berserker women (no clothes, just a pelt over the head).


At no point did I suggest any of what you're assuming in this ridiculous post. In reality, I was protesting the original concept. Not to mention, I have no input whatsoever on the design of the characters in the concept stage, Paul is more than capable of handling it himself. I see these designs at the same time as the rest of you, and I give my opinion just like everyone else does, after the fact. At that point, if things need to change, they do. Priscilla is the third character whose design has changed after their initial concept was shown.

I'm not sure, by putting words in my mouth, what your point is here.

It is a TrueType font, interestingly enough. I got super lucky when I found it. It's called KaiTi, and if I recall correctly its Photoshop/Word preview shows up with foreign characters. I literally stumbled on it (and I am so glad I did, because I spent so long looking for appropriate fonts because SFonts was not playing nice.)


I know that feel.

I've had to make so many script mods (or beg for them) to get SFonts to behave with them.

Curious about the font, because it looks like FF8's actual font, only in a higher resolution. Is it a TrueType font or a bitmap SFont?

I've forced myself to only play what you sent me to test and modify scripts for, months back. If you keep releasing demos, I'm gonna lose my willpower and stop trying to wait for the final version. Keep up the good work, dude!

Awesome constructive criticism there, guy. I'm assuming that's not an offer to draw us some new ones all by yourself, so you might want to tell us why you think they're awful.
