Castle Oblivion 3

Beautiful maps, and a great way to revisit and old game. The only thing I can think that would make this all that much better is to get remakes of the first two games to fix the mapping and dialogue. But until then, thanks for this great gem.

Barbarians and the Necromancer's Tower

Can't believe I missed this one. A Castlevania hack of sorts? Count me in!!

i hate this game, the ending crossed one of those lines that should not be crossed.
i hate when people say something is great then that's what you get >.>

What line do you think was crossed? If you're upset over the initial ending, replay the game on its new game + which includes a few different things, plus an extended (and happier) ending.

But personally, I liked the first ending myself. Hidden to avoid spoilers:

It was very bold, very powerful, and one that will leave a deeper impact on its audience for a long time to come. There's no set rule that a game has to have a happy ending. Her presence already defeated whatever monstrosity was haunting the village, but the villagers believed that a death was required to atone for the so-called sin, and she was an easy target. She could have easily turned in the culprit, but the fact that she was willing to be sacrificed on another's behalf spoke volumes of her personality and how she felt about the villagers, even more than what words could describe.

All of this loses its meaning in the replay with the happier ending, but it's still a very good game overall.

The first ending, though, was truly a sad and powerful ending, and one that left me with a wide variety of emotions. So kudos to the developer for crossing the very line you hate.

Seer Dell: Dragon

Well, I just finished playing through it. Very nice and short, however, considering the game's length and the way it ended, I figured I'd hold off on a review. The game feels as if I just completed the prologue of a much bigger tale that has yet to be told, and that's a bit frustrating because...

... Well, I was initially not impressed. I wasn't exactly sure what I was playing (if it was an event driven game or what) and I thought I'd turn it off at around the 5 minute mark. But then I got sucked in by the humor. The party reminds me so much of My Little Ponies (thanks to my daughter), and I can easily see Dash in Tome and Pinkie Pie in Dell.

Very charming and witty, and it was very enjoyable to play through, even though the rest of the story may go untold.

Schuld (English Translation)

So I finished watching Cry's playthrough of it after getting a bit tired of playing it myself. And I have to say, it was pretty decent. I enjoyed the ending, but I have to say (spoilers for those who haven't seen, played, or watched):

I was disappointed at how abrupt the ending was. That judge got off easy, and it makes me a bit sad the developer didn't go the extra mile to give the judge what he deserved. It would have been very poetic to see the judge caught up in the same nightmare he used to torture so many others with.
.

Had the ending been less rushed, I think this would have been so much better.

Veil of Darkness

Good story-driven game. Although very short, it was charming. I kind of wished it had ended a bit differently, but that's just me.

Desperate Love Feast

The download looks to have been updated recently, but no blog about what's changed. Just curious to know if it's worth my time to update and replace the current one I have on my computer, or if it's just a minor fix.

Pokemon: Resource Kit

Wow! Great idea. Even for people who don't care about Pokemon styled games can probably use this for other fun rpg's.

Stuck as in getting the second ending? You have to replay the whole game. Personally, I liked the original ending. It's a very emotional scene.

Hi. I like metroid/megaman/zelda i found some here but controls need to changes. It's non comfortable to fight "a" jump "space" and yeah this game not using my gamepad like most other rpgmaker does i think it's cause patch or something.

Honestly, I think "Z" and "Space" would have felt more natural. Of course, you could always map the buttons to a game pad and try it that way.
