The DLC album called "Retrospective" by JDB Artist may help. It's 8-bit sounding, so not as full and rich as Earthbound 3. But kinda close?

[RMVX ACE] Best anti-lag script?
I experimented with a few free ones and none really worked for me. Not to take anything away from the scriptwriters, but every one I tried either didn't reduce any lag or conflicted with some other scripts I had.
I ended up using Effectus - yes, which I had to pay for - but, omg. It worked sooo well. Was worth the cash.

Is it worth using RMVXA at this point?
You can count me in the "Stay in VXAce" camp, for now at least. I've found that any problem you have with VXAce has been had before and there's way more support in the older forums for common issues. MV is still a frontier. And, while that's exciting, the going can be slower.
As for FPS drops, I'm a big fan of Effectus. It's $20... but I found it worth every penny. The free FPS scripts didn't work for me or interacted funny with some of my other scripts. I think this may be the third time I've posted about Effectus, so the mods are going to start to think I'm employed by them. But I'm not! Really! Just a major fan. It worked WONDERS on some of my larger maps.

[RMVX ACE] Script error even though I don't use scripts

I made two slightly different animated start screens. Which one do you all like, and do you have any other suggestions?

What you can't notice in the screenshots is that the busts kinda float up and down and there are red sparky particle effects that float up. Also, the circle rune thing rotates.
I definitely have an opinion, but I'm too close to everything to know if what I'm thinking is right. Thanks!
