AVEE'S PROFILE

I started to design games at age 5, drawing maps and sprites with felt pens and paper. Then I began writing stories and game scenarios. I've been working with Rpg Maker 2000 and 2003 mostly, as soon as they came out.
I favor RPGs, Action RPGs and Fighting games. My favorite styles are Fantasy, Horror and anything dark or gothic. I also appreciate cute and funny content.

I make a lot of pixel art and some digital art (concept, promo, fanart, etc.)
I also compose 8-bit music.

Don't be shy and send me a message if you want to commission my work ;)

Guess that game!

Hehehe I know this one and I thought it was horrible.
Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits.

Why won't this dude disappear?

I don't know XP and VX much but maybe it's because Switch 0008 is still on. Turn it off.

Chrono Cross Appreciation/Deprecation/What Is This I Don't Even Thread

Chrono Cross rocked.
Chrono Trigger sucked.

That's just my opinion.

This is the first time I've met someone who thinks so. I respect the opinion and am very interested in knowing what did you like and dislike about both games ^^

Movie Influences

I believe I should get inspiration from movies more often.
I've always been a big fan of Luc Besson's movies, like The Professionnal and Taken, and martial arts movies. I just love it when every character is a badass or a psycho and kicks everyone's butt with style. Ninja Assassin and Tony Jaa's movies are great for that too. The Crow (the first movie only) is awesome too. I'd love to play games that feel like these movies.

Guess that game!

It ain't Mario and Luigi.
Give it another try.

EDIT: Kentona: That is correct! Double Dragon 2 to be precise.

Guess that game!

Next hint is a tough one:

"Into the turf, two brothers avenge the death of a girl they once rescued"

Extra hint: This game had one of the most awesome cover art ever.

Chrono Cross Appreciation/Deprecation/What Is This I Don't Even Thread

I own Chrono Cross since 2000 and never played past Termina. I just can't get into it. Chrono Trigger, on the other hand, I play a little every year.

Chrono Trigger was mostly written and designed by Yuji Horii, the guy behind the Dragon Quest series, and Hiroyuki Ito. But Chrono Cross was made by other guys.
Nowadays I never trust the companies (the producers and developers) when it comes to buying a game. I rather look up who are the writers and designers to make my mind. That way I am rarely disappointed with my purchases.

By the way Yasunori Mitsuda is the composer for CT and CC. I support him by buying his albums and having a look at the other games he scored (Xenogears, Shadow Hearts, Sands of Destruction...)

Guess that game!

Muramasa: The Demon Blade?
Never played it. Only saw a few videos about it.

Help me test lag (rm2k3)

Even events that are merely decorative objects can cause lag if there are too many of them.
If possible you might want to make them part of the tileset or save them as a single Picture.

Miracle got it right. It is one of Miles Edgeworth's famous quotes.
