AVEE'S PROFILE

I started to design games at age 5, drawing maps and sprites with felt pens and paper. Then I began writing stories and game scenarios. I've been working with Rpg Maker 2000 and 2003 mostly, as soon as they came out.
I favor RPGs, Action RPGs and Fighting games. My favorite styles are Fantasy, Horror and anything dark or gothic. I also appreciate cute and funny content.

I make a lot of pixel art and some digital art (concept, promo, fanart, etc.)
I also compose 8-bit music.

Don't be shy and send me a message if you want to commission my work ;)

FF7 remake. It's a thing.

Pdr313, please don't double post or triple post. It's against the site rules.
Use the Edit feature at the bottom of your messages instead.

EDIT: To be fair, most of the playable characters in FF7 have a healthy amount of development and back-story to find out about, sometimes through optional quests. Only Cait Sith (and spoiler: the guy who controls him) has a single scene that reveals a more intimate part of its personality.

In FF6 there really isn't much to say about Mog, Gogo, Umaro and Strago. Gau has one interesting scene in the World of Ruin but otherwise has no character development either. That's 5 poorly-developed playable characters out of 14.

Cool idea :)

Starr Mazer

I can't play games like that anymore. I either focus on my ship and don't see where I shoot or go, or I focus on aligning my shots with the target and die from enemy fire.
Looks amazing though.

Which is the hardest Final Fantasy game?

FF2 on the NES is extremely tedious due to the low rate of stat gains. Even with the Cancel button cheat you can only gain 1 point per fight and the game requires a lot of grinding.

I think that FF3 can be more difficult though, especially when you pick unsuitable Jobs against certain bosses.
I don't know if the DS remake is better.

FF1 becomes much easier after the Marsh Cave. And FF 4 through 10 are rather easy.

It'll Look Great On Your Résumé

I had completely forgotten about this and now it gets featured. Congrats! :D
Gonna try it soon.

Is anyone here good at cartography artwork or know anyone who is?

@Feld: All 3 of those references are quite different in style...

The Dragon Age one looks messy from afar but is extremely detailed. It probably is the hardest one to replicate.

The Tactics Ogre one has simple outlines and uses "tiles": the trees and several mountains for instance are identical. The outlines and colors are very simple. Everything that is around the map is expert level stuff though.

The FF12 one has lots of complicated smudge all over it but the outlines and colors seem easy enough to replicate.

I could possibly try my hand at it. I don't have any sample of similar work to show though.
Tell us more about what style you'd prefer to go for, how much details do you want, etc.

EDIT: Oh and there's Celianna's World Map Maker you might want to look into.
