AVEE'S PROFILE
Avee
5794
I started to design games at age 5, drawing maps and sprites with felt pens and paper. Then I began writing stories and game scenarios. I've been working with Rpg Maker 2000 and 2003 mostly, as soon as they came out.
I favor RPGs, Action RPGs and Fighting games. My favorite styles are Fantasy, Horror and anything dark or gothic. I also appreciate cute and funny content.
I make a lot of pixel art and some digital art (concept, promo, fanart, etc.)
I also compose 8-bit music.
Don't be shy and send me a message if you want to commission my work ;)

[RMVX ACE] How to implement this system?
Using events, you would make one variable for the Action cards and another for the Attribute cards.
Make a custom menu (look for a tutorial on those) where you select the cards you want and it updates the two variables.
Then, when DSS mode is active, have Conditions check the cards and determine which effect you get.
That much can be easily implemented in any RM engine.
The forge idea sounds good. Use a custom menu and Conditions as mentioned above, and also check if the player already knows the skill before you learn it.

Bachelors' Deal Review
Very well written and a pleasure to read. Thanks for the review!
The contestants' answers are the meat of this game and I'm glad that Link_2112, Healy and Caninemm helped with those.
I had to make all answers randomly selected in order to finish the game in time and feared that might have been a downside, but it seems to add some replay value after all.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game and thanks for the review!
Answers are indeed randomly selected. We ended up with about 22 answers per question.
The host also has 12 possible final quotes, 4 per ending.

What's the First Videogame you've ever played?
I don't remember. At home we had SMB 1-3, Metroid, Double Dragon 1-2, Megaman 2-3, Castlevania 1-3... It probably was one of those.
I also used to rent a lot of games when I was 6-7 and stumbled upon many turds.
Trying out new games you never had heard of was fun in itself though. The internet didn't exist back then and Nintendo Power didn't cover every single title. You looked at the cover art and screenshots on the back and rented/bought the game if it looked good, then hoped the gameplay was good too.
My brothers bought new NES games regularly. At first they did not want me to play Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy, Crystalis, etc. so I wouldn't delete their saved games, but also because they thought I wouldn't understand English at that age (French is my native language), which was true but I could still understand how to use commands and items and stuff and be able to play. I fell in love with the RPG genre early on.
