AVEE'S PROFILE

I started to design games at age 5, drawing maps and sprites with felt pens and paper. Then I began writing stories and game scenarios. I've been working with Rpg Maker 2000 and 2003 mostly, as soon as they came out.
I favor RPGs, Action RPGs and Fighting games. My favorite styles are Fantasy, Horror and anything dark or gothic. I also appreciate cute and funny content.
I make a lot of pixel art and some digital art (concept, promo, fanart, etc.)
I also compose 8-bit music.
Don't be shy and send me a message if you want to commission my work ;)

FFD Concept Art 13 - Priscilla Alexandros
We don't have many armored females. How about a light leather armor or breastplate?
Something inspired by the FFXI or XIV archers I think would be a nice alternative.

An update/announcement thing of sorts

Do you have anything specific in mind?
Like the size of the image and of the robots on the canvas, any specific equipment or body type, etc. Should it be promo art or a gameplay mockup?

How much editing until a sprite is your own?
In my book, an edit is always an edit. So it's always considered plagiarism.
But if you draw it from scratch, even though many parts look similar to someone else's sprite, then it's yours. As long as it doesn't look exactly like that other sprite, it's not plagiarism. It might be labelled as being inspired by.

Has anyone made an online service made to inform parents about weather a game is OK for their child a lot
The ESRB rating is already in place and does the job.
Between looking at a logo and a couple of words or browsing the internet to find and read/watch a review, I think it's safe to assume that a majority of parents would pick the simpler, faster option.
I think that most parents who believe video games are a bad influence on their kids probably forbid them to play at all, don't have a console at home or whatever. I doubt they'll suddenly become interested in knowing more about something they fear and blame. The possibility of being wrong is very threatening to a lot of close-minded people, and several studies (and all of our personal experiences) have proven that video games don't change people for the worse.
So I can see your good intention but that specific idea just wouldn't work.
EDIT: Ninja'd. So yeah, the real problem here is about some parents being ignorant and/or lazy. If they already ignore the ESRB, you can be sure they'll never take the time to search and watch reviews.

What jobs are you made for? - Holland Code Quiz
I understand the feeling. The suggestions are based on the codes and not your personal interests and aspirations, so there are definitely some results that feel horribly wrong.
Being interested in art and craft in general and history I can understand why antiquary was one of my past suggestions.
I'm just not that into it.
EDIT: ok wait, I just contradicted myself. Maybe that was a different test.
