There isn't a screenshot in the last couple of pages that doesn't look good!
@Punkitt: *heaps more praise on those smooth animations*
@UPRC:
Ah! That's so cool. Turning BP into something that's yours from top to bottom is an excellent idea. How are you finding the switch to MV from VX Ace (which I'm guessing you were pretty familiar with after BP2)? Is it good for SNES-styled projects?

I think one tile high walls work. It starts to get really finicky when you have really high walls at this resolution, since they (presumably) block player movement and they can only obscure so many tiles before players start to demand being able to walk behind them.

No no, the building walls are great. I meant the stone town walls. Like, the wall that surrounds the town. They tile fine, but when they're used as single tiles they don't work that well. The front part of the wall has a bit of black on the left edge but abruptly ends on the right, and the top tile looks like it has two small bricks against its right edge. They're just aligned oddly.
I have been thinking about raiding the FF7 remake tiles too, even though they're a bit wonky sometimes. They're a great starting point for edits.

This looks great! I know too well the urge to redo windows. I sort of agree with that urge to redo the walls, though, the top tile doesn't tile that well when used as a single vertical section. Maybe just two 8x12 bricks instead of the big brick-little brick setup? I don't think most people will focus on this, but when you see the whole town in one view it's hard to ignore.

Oh, hahaha. I see the Chocobo now. Couldn't see the forest from the trees x)
I'm afraid this is a shame you'll never live down
Onix Rift
I haven't had a chance to play the new demo yet, but having read that feedback I have to say I don't disagree with most of it. However, I do disagree with this quite strongly:
I didn't encounter a lot of the above problems tbh, although I can see how some thing could be easy to miss (like equipping sword and finding the right path sometimes). Be careful about overcorrecting to make the right way forward too obvious, though. I do agree there need to be more save points, like maybe one in the village.
I haven't really mentioned any of the typos in the game since I figured they'd be tackled all at once at a later date, but
edit: embowed is a word, but it is extremely archaic and means simply "bow like" (as in a bow that shoot arrows).
- It's not obvious enough that you need to push the chest in the first dungeon to continue. There is a chest shaped hole right next to a chest, which is a good level of detail for an early puzzle. I think it's obvious enough.

- After the previous dialogue: "I have embowd the Magic of Fire within this "Mystic Conch"." should be "I have embowed the Magic of Fire within this "Mystic Conch"."definitely shouldn't read "embowed" as that is not the correct word. "Endowed" or "imbued" would work, with the latter being more proper.

Another update ladies and gentlemen.
Steamed Hams, but it's RPGMAKER2003!
And here I was, thinking you couldn't cram more any more in there. Looks like I was wrong, again! Just awesome. I think there's already more content in there then people expect, leaving them pleasantly surprised whenever they find something, so this will be another in a long list of (potential) pleasant surprises!
