Talents/Hobbies/Redeeming Qualities of Some Sort

I have a talent for oversleeping. I occasionally do things, like go outside and talk to friends when/if I'm awake.

My hobbies are composing sometimes, pixel art, painting very occassionally, drawing very ocassionally, working with RM2k3, and sleeping. I actually like the process of designing games, I just wish I had more time for it.

I also have a talent for mispelling the word "occassionnally". In fact, I did it again. I looked it up and it's "Occasionally".

Wondering question!!!

Make the title screen predominantly black, and make the system set have a black background. Then go to the Strings tab and remove the Begin/Continue/End words. Instead, you'll put them onto the title screen itself.

Example:

Title screen as seen in the game:

The system set:

And the title picture is everything except the cursor.

Thanks!

I really wish I had more free time to compose, though. I haven't done many songs in a while.

Paradise Blue

Sure, hope you enjoy it! I got around to submitting it, so hopefully it'll be accepted.

Paradise Blue

Hey, has anyone played this yet?

Actually, I've yet to submit this game on the main site. I'll be doing that soon.

RPG Maker VX. RMVX is to RMXP what RM2k3 is to RM2k; RMVX release date announced

If I had to guess, I'd think the A/B/C/D/E letters below the tileset are for the tile layers, so perhaps it might allow for 5 layers. Either that, or maybe it's that you're supposed to rely on the auto-tiles. I dunno.

If you were to create a manga series...

I'm thinking it'd be something like the games I work on, bright and cheery misadventures about 18-24 year olds. Although I think that'd really be more like Azumanga Daioh, so maybe not.

Backstory
In the old Island of Azulea, the natives are pushed away from the land they once held. The ones who conquered the land have settled and created a new civilization on the Island. Now that the King is near death, there are 2 groups that are fighting for the throne.

Characters
4 Guards: You play as these guards. Their gender/class/name can be chosen. They don't have a speaking role.

Patrick: A 13 year old Paladin in training. He's optimistic and wishes that the 4 guards would join their cause willfully instead of being paid for it.

Amelia: An 18 year old girl who tends to be rather mean. She's an Assassin, but her task is to assist Abigail in acquiring special Tokens.

Neil: A 23 year old who is in charge of the schedules for the workers in the 2nd floor of the Castle Santelha. He's outgoing, and can be cruel to some people (Particularly the new ones), but generally bothers everyone.

Borgliddle: A 32 year old fat guy who is a thief. Or at least tries to be one. Fails frequently, and makes mistakes often.

Lord Javier: A 25 year old ruler of Marsall. He cares about women more than he does anything else. He tends to exploit both citizens of his town and the government for his own gain.

Evan: A 29 year old Archer. He's assigned to be the assistant and advisor to Javier. He would much rather be the one ruling Marsall, but he doesn't have a say in that. He does like assassination missions, though.

Screens

The battle system. I made every character as a Dancer class.

The Beachside area.

An abandoned guard house that you need to enter for a quest

Quest log, so you can see your quests.

About the game
You can change your class once you beat the 1st boss. Before then, you can choose which starting class you want your characters to be, out of 6 of them (Fighter, White Mage, Black Mage, Red Mage, Thief, Monk). You gain ABP after a battle, so once you get enough ABP, the character can learn an ability from their class.

There are 10 quests in this demo. You can finish 9 of them, "Capital City" is unable to be finished at the moment.

You can hire people in the towns to help you in battle. Some may use abilities like boosting your magic power, walking speed, letting you attack first, and more.

I hope you have fun! Let me know what you think of it. If you find any bugs, let me know! It's stand alone so you shouldn't need RPG Maker or the RTP to run this. I fixed a few bugs since the initial release at GW, but nothing major. There's still a bug that happens if you fail the Music box quest by standing below the stairs on the first floor when time runs out. I might have fixed it, I don't remember, but either way, you don't want to fail that quest. It's the only time limit one, so save before hand.

Ocean stuffs

Well, Lulu was supposed to have an evil smile, but I didn't get around to that yet (I've been mostly focused with the outlines). She wasn't supposed to be THAT peppy.

As for Sakaki, I wanted to make her happy about her having a Necoconeco on her head. Otherwise I'd have her expressionless. What can I say, I like happy girls. :)

Ocean stuffs

It's been quiet in the art section, so I'll post up some stuff.

Lulu! It's not finished, need to do the shading. Comments on this one would be appreciated, as I'm still working on it.
