AVEE'S PROFILE
Avee
5794
I started to design games at age 5, drawing maps and sprites with felt pens and paper. Then I began writing stories and game scenarios. I've been working with Rpg Maker 2000 and 2003 mostly, as soon as they came out.
I favor RPGs, Action RPGs and Fighting games. My favorite styles are Fantasy, Horror and anything dark or gothic. I also appreciate cute and funny content.
I make a lot of pixel art and some digital art (concept, promo, fanart, etc.)
I also compose 8-bit music.
Don't be shy and send me a message if you want to commission my work ;)

Source of this MIDI? [Battle BGM used in Hanzo Kimura Project]
I could google it using related words in kanji: http://greentone.ina-ka.com/midi.html
It's Track 26.
On the About page, it says that you can use the music in game projects and that giving credit to the composer Nakamura Ine (中村イネ) and to the website is appreciated.
I can't see anything about using the music for commercial projects though, so I think it would be safer to use it only in free games.
There are no words about remixing the tracks either. In my opinion, it's fine to compose original music that is inspired by other composers' works as long as you don't plagiarize them.

New Tileset Showcase
Thank you for the feedback :)
I agree about the dunes, and they won't make sense for the small beaches. I'll try something else for the next update.

Ok I'm curious and want to try it.
Resolution control is a nice and important feature.
Is there any information on keyboard mapping/controller compatibility?

Halloween Wars
Indeed the levels are linear, having the player literally run on rails... Even though that was the original intent, I wondered if the random monster and candy encounters would counter the linearity enough to make the levels enjoyable...
Thank you for your comment!

Thank you for your comment X-Tech! I'm glad that you enjoyed the game.
By the way you have great taste in movie-based profile pics.

The Color White
I gave this game a quick try and ended up playing through 3 different endings.
I can't say I really understand depression nor could I relate to the main character, but I enjoyed the tone and mood of the game. The way you used the screen tint and music to tacitly inform the player of their progress was nice.
Progression through the story felt a bit rushed though, to me anyway. I wish that there were more dialogue so I could have better understood the characters' minds, feel more involved and more empathetic towards them. But it might be a minor nitpick.
Overall, good job ;)
